Singles & Dating - 24 February 2007

So my best friend and i have been friends for about 2-3 years now and we've just discovered that we're falling for each other. Turns out he's had a secret thing for me since i've met him. Earlier, i hinted at him that i couldn't have a relationship because it wasn't a good time in my life. I want my degree and i want to be in a good place if i decide to be in one - esp. if he's the one i want to end up with. For him, he would hint that he liked me/relationship...then we switched ideas - i was thinking about being with him and he became worried about major priorities like bills, work, and finishing his degree. He finally talked to me and said that he never ever wants to hurt me...and that right now is not a good time for both of us. He said that if we were to ever go out, it would "worth it, lasting, long and serious" - rather than right now, it wouldn't be like that because of our schedules and we just want to grow up and experience life before we get into anything serious.........

Ok... here goes. By no means are me and the guy i like friends. i mean, like we dont talk to each other. this is really confusing to explain. he found out i liked him last year, and since we've been back at school this year its different between us. I have sat next to him twice in these session things, and he does things like elbow me, and smile at me and steal my pencil case... did i mention block doorways so i have the opportunity to hug him? Do u think he likes me, and what should i do? Keep flirting like a man? haha

ok well...for v-day, i gave this girl in my class a really beautifully made card and i told her my feelings is in the card....anyways...she starts to notice me ....making eye contact...but she still doesnt do anything not even talk to me...NOTHING and she doesnt show much sign of interests....anyways ....recently this other girl also starts to take notice of me ...like umm she smiles when she looks at me...and shes kinda shy around me stuff like that ..so should i just move on to a girl who acctually appretiates me or should i keep trying with the girl i gave a card to.....?
another thing.....if i just move on without tell the first girl how i really felt about her or asked what she felt....would she hate me later on if she HAD feelings for me?

my boyfriend and i have been having a great releationship, we've been going out for a yr now, but one thing that always bothers me is that he doesn't say much when we're talking over the phone. even when i'm saying something important, he seems like he isn't paying much attention. is this b/c guys just odn't like talking on the phone?

A guy from my club in college asked me out. we barely know each other. he's really good looking, tall, popular and intelligent. he's quiet

I'm really looking forward to it but I'm feeling really insecure now. What if we have nothing to say to each other? What if he doesn't find me as intelligent? I'm from eastern europe (i'm an international student in the States) what if I can't catch all of what he says? (I still can't catch everything Americans say). I asked this guy out in front of his friends, to which he blushd and immediately nodded his head, and smiled at me. I was busy and didn't get to him until months later, which he then rejected me.

I don't know why he would reject me since he already said yes before.

Ok so my girlfriend breanna who i love sooo muchu and i know she loves me just thought i liked a girl named samara. we started to argue and it lead to some other things that had to do with trust and stuff. we both love eachother very much. i just wanted her to be happy so i offered the choice of taking a break for ahwile. maybe break up and jsut let everything blow through. i thought she'd say no right away, but she ended up thinking about it and i got real scared. i didnt want her to do it. but at the same time if she picked it i would just want her to be happy and i would agree with it. well, she said i was the best boyfriend ever and the sweetest guy in the world and she wasnt gonna do it. and she promised me that she was happy with her decision. i believe her, but she told me today she partly chose it because she felt abd for me...i jst need advice on the situation please.....:(

please help me. i am very confused and stressed out. i have liked my friend for about 2 years. we get along so well. and i really feel physically and mentally (does that make sense lol?) attracted to him. i suspect he might be attracted to me as well. for example, he never talks about girls (me neither) and he has never had a girl friend. when were hanging out, ill catch him looking at me sometimes, like we gaze into each others eyes and smile. also the other day on AIM i said "can i ask you a question...and its been on my mind for quite some time." he said sure...but i said it would have to be the next day cuz i had to get off of AIM. the next day, he I Med me and i think he wanted to noe what i was going to ask but i never got up the courage to ask him. Should I change my phone # just to avoid someone?? I've been trying to forget about someone I used to date. We live in different states and its not gonna work out. But this person keeps texting me and saying things like" How are you" or "I miss you". I want to forget about this person. Has anyone else had this problem?

I saw a girl that normally I would avoid like the 'plague'...I can see the drama that could happen...BUT she makes me feel so good to see her smile that I start to have an anxiety attack(Heavy breathing, sweating, shaking) REALLY BAD. It happens every time she comes around. I am doing things that are out of character for me...and to make things worse she's a lot younger(but legal!). I was told that I have an 'obsession' and that its purely chemical and will go away with time. BUT I feel so good that maybe I don't want it to go away! She knows I like her but she's involved...Has anyone got any advice. I was told to start taking Prozac or Xanax. By the way....I can't stop thinking about her..at all. Its been three months

I have been talking with a guy I was with many years ago for a few months now and we finally met in person 2 weeks ago and had a really good time. The next day he told me we need to slow down because his feelings scared him and he needs to get his thoughts together. Since then we have only talked a couple of times and he tells me to be patient. I told him if he does not want to see me to just tell me. He says he does want to see me but needs some time. So does anyone have any ideas on whats up with this guy?

Ok...So, I really like this guy. He even admitted that we had something between us. He is 2 years younger than I am and he left for school last fall. He is now all away across the country and barely gives me the time of day yet says he still cares for me. But, yet he never calls never visits nothing.
