please help me. i am very confused and stressed out. i have liked my friend for about 2 years. we get along so well. and i really feel physically and mentally (does that make sense lol?) attracted to him. i suspect he might be attracted to me as well. for example, he never talks about girls (me neither) and he has never had a girl friend. when were hanging out, ill catch him looking at me sometimes, like we gaze into each others eyes and smile. also the other day on AIM i said "can i ask you a question...and its been on my mind for quite some time." he said sure...but i said it would have to be the next day cuz i had to get off of AIM. the next day, he I Med me and i think he wanted to noe what i was going to ask but i never got up the courage to ask him. ( the question was is he gay/attracted to me...something along those lines.) please help me...what should i do? thanks for your replies.

BITE THE BULLET and ask him.
Ask how he feels about the two of you "progressing" in your friendship with each other. *KEEP IN MIND that at this point, the both of you are still "just friends" so be resilient to accept either reply. <-Explain this to him as I'm sure he will appreciate your candor. I know that I do appreciate this in the ladies who I date.

It's possible he does have feelings for you or he might just be confused. You really would have to ask him, however depending on the person he may get upset you asked him if he was gay. I'm taking it you are male too.

This all depends on your age. In the teenage years if you haven't worked out how to relate to girls, and occasionally if you have, it isn't unusual to find a guy sexually attractive. That doesn't make it a good idea to act on it, and it doesn't necessarily mean that you're gay.

Times will tell. Don't do a thing, but keep on being Friends with him. When time is right maybe you can move on to the next step.

if you never give it a try, then you'll never know the answer...dont wait until it is too late...then you'll regret it...maybe you can tell him indirect way,say by making a story of your other friend instead of yourself..get it?but if his answer is not what you are hoping for,dont feel bad cuz after all you've tried and know the truth..try to still befriend with him...be confident and good luck!

ok, there is no way to tell for sure. He probably does like you but he may not admit it on his own. you also shouldn't rush. If he says no to the question, that doesn't mean that he doesn't like you. be brave!
