my boyfriend and i have been having a great releationship, we've been going out for a yr now, but one thing that always bothers me is that he doesn't say much when we're talking over the phone. even when i'm saying something important, he seems like he isn't paying much attention. is this b/c guys just odn't like talking on the phone?

hes more of a public person, i have the same problem, i can say a million things in real life, and i can over the phone, but there isnt alot to talk about over the phone

ya know what? I have this exact problem... except I havent gone out wit this guy as long as you... he just seems like he ignores me all the time, I would just talk to him and see whats up... I know that my bf is very shy all the time, so hes like that, but you should talk to your boyfriend and see if anythings bothering him... Thats your best bet to a great relationship. Be open and honest with one another!

Maybe hes doing something while hes on the phone ljust like how my cousins she clled up her bf but he didnt reaplpy paynig attention to her because hes too into a computer game lol.
or he mite kinda lose intrested on u.

My girlfriend is the same way on the phone but when we get together she doesnt stop talking, shes like a runaway train...

Yes.I have been married for 4 years and when I'm on the phone with my husband he doesn't have much to say either.

i find that guys do communicate better in person. so if it something u feel is important maybe invite him over and go at it that way. the phone thing with guys is they get distracted alot. that is my experience

he sounds like he is the quiet type that means he is a thinker you never knows what he is thinking this is the worse sort of man i like a man out spoken who tells you what he is thinking.
