Singles & Dating - 3 February 2007

I was told today by a friend of mine who just came to town (its a very small town, 600 ppl) that a bunch of people here think Im stuck up. I work as a bouncer, but Im not huge or anything, I could still woop your butt. Im not good at talking to people I dont know, my mom was very protective so I got screwed into homeschooling. I dunno, I suck at talking to people, and in my line of work, its not always good to be well known. Anyways, Im the strong silent type, that and I almost always smoke a doob right after work, so Im pretty docile. Anyways, peace out.

when do you know your in love?...what do you do when someone tells you they love you?
my boyfriend tells me loves me..but i cant say it back because i dont know if thats what im feeling. does anyone know what real love is suppost to feel like? can anyone help me?..i want to tell him i love him too, but not if its not real. what should i do?

A guy won't say goodbye to a girl..the girl gave him some drama but he always told her he could never get angry at her...they are friends not just IM friends. The girl told him she didn't know how to do with him and another guy so she was returning to go home to America he said to her she could call before she left but he just disappeared. He wasn't after her for sex..he is a really nice guy. When he was on IM he always asked her where are you like he cared where she was. But now the girl is sad because he won't say goodbye..is it because he doesn't believe her? She also wanted to give him a goodbye present and her friend was to give it to him but he won't call the friend either..she doesn't understand whats wrong. He is in the military in Asia (nothing to do with Iraq) he is not american-but this is not the problem.

Well my bf is 2 years older than me and his brother doesnt like and so he kinda has to hide tht we are datting and it is very strange and he says he loves me we have datted on and off centz june we datted very often and I dont know what to do about his brother and why he doesnt like me and me and my frien was joking with him we said we were bi and he told his brother and now he isnt as mean to me

he broke up with me the meanes way he just ignored me

I have been communicating online with a guy for three months.
he lives 200 miles away in Boston.
we are supposed to finally meet at the end of this month.
at first he said he'd come visit me, then he said his work is crazy and maybe I could come see him.
Im not going to come see him, but will tell him he's welcome to visit me.
thing is is that he couldve driven to see me tonight, Saturday.
he told me he'd be too tired because of working all day saturday.
well we have IMd or talked every friday/saturday night for 3 months.
now he's not around at all and its almost 1:30 am.
Last week he started to ask more frequently for full bodied pics. now Im thinking he was comparing me to someone
near where he lives and must be out on a date ?
we have had the best conversations, but i feel like he may have been leading me on.
why would he spend so many hours getting to know me if he wasnt truly interested ?
And we're not that young, Im 30, he's 34.

he was my "boyfriend" back in 3rd grade and we went steady for two years and then broke up and i knew him through middle school and now im in 10th grade in highschool and he's in my english class...and through that time, he's the only one that i really loved and to this day i still wonder why i let him go, but i want him back and he has a gf...and idk, i want to tell him that i like him, but if doesnt like me, i don't want him to go to his friends and be like, "oh my god guys, she likes me" in like a irritated embarrassed way - what do i do?

I have always played it safe and never really taken the risk for a relationship. I am out of my mind scared of doing anything like that. There's this guy that is really into me. (more like a couple.) and I always seem to find reasons not to go out with them. And I think that the reason why is because the guy I have in mind isn't them.But he is totally taken. Am I crazy? Am I being too picky or something? Am I rushing things? I want to be able to take risks even though the one I had in mind isn't the one asking.

Hello, well im having this dilema inside my head that is bothering me evey single day. Well, i met my friend like 4 yrs ago and well he is a really good friend, and well im kinda part of his fam as he is to mine, but the thing is that he is that since i met him he somked pot, and he havent quit since. I smoked it some times before but not as much, but now i just wanna quit because i have many goals in my life, and pot wont help on any of it. The problem is that i somke every time i see my friend because he feels kinda down when he is smoking alone, so i just take a couple of fake hits whic i dont like. I tough that probly i might get him to quit but is hard since his dad, sisters, and others somke in his house; He told me he wants to quit, but is just the hard influence there is. My parents got to know that he smokes and well they are tottaly against that, and they want me to stop hanging out with my friend cuz of that, so i dont know what todo.......help pls.

I'm a dorky guy who hasnt had a girlfriend ever. I just mainly concentrate on getting good grades but I wonder if there's someone out there for me. I try to talk to girls but I get nowhere. One weekends I usually just play video games.

Will I ever meet a girl who likes me for who I am? From experience what's does the future hold for a dorky guy?

I know there's someone for everyone, but so far I havent found her, and I dont have many chances of doing so. People dont realize that doesnt do any good and actually makes it worse, what if she's halfway across the world and has no idea you exist?

My boyfriend used to be so sweet to me when we first started dating, he would make every effort to see me or call me but now it seems like I just don't matter to him anymore. He has stopped calling me and everytime I call him he either doesnt answer the phone or says i gtg. When I talk to him about feeling ignored he just says hes too busy with work and school and personal problems and that I should be more understanding. I tried to be understanding but I don't see how i deserve to be ignored, especially when I know that he is making time for other people (friends,family). And now he is upset with me for getting mad at him for not putting enough effort into our relationship! I dont know if I should feel guilty and apologize or if I should just leave him. I'm so confused. Am I over-reacting, should i just give him space, or should i ditch him?

This girl has liked me now for a long time. And I know she still does... but I don't reciprocate those feelings for her I'm seeing her as a friend... And she's an awsome person that I don't want to lose either so I don't want to blatantly blow her off.

I don't know how to tell her I'm not interested in a relationship with her. And I don't really want to say that I don't want a relationship at this time.... because I actually do. I like her and her personality is great but I don't see a compatibility in between us two. I don't know. Like we have alot of the same interests.... but I don't share the same physical attraction she does. I can't just straight up tell her something like that so what do I say? She's asking me to give her a chance but I know that once we start dating.... I won't be able to get out easily...

I need some serious advice on this and any help is much appreciated.

ok, is it weird for a 18 year old girl to go out with a 28 year old boy? we have great chemistry, but the fact that hes so much older than me kinda makes me feel like im doing somthing wrong. is it ok, or is it kind of looked down upon by society for two people to be together with such a big age difference.

I'm 20 and my girlfriend is 18. We have been together for a little over 2 years now and we love each other very much. I want to add that for an entire year before we started going out, we were best friends. Early in the relationship we would have sex about 3 or 4 times a week and she seemed to enjoy it, and initiated it about half of the time. For the last year though, I'm lucky to have sex with her once a week. Now, it's been a month, and we've had sex ONE time. We see each other about 5 days a week. We go to movies once in a while, go out to dinner twice a month. Watch tv shows we love together, go for walks occassionally, play pool, board games. We're an active couple and do things together. The problem is she's never in the mood anymore and always get's upset with me if god forbid I say something about it and express my frustration. What the hell is going on? I'm 100 percent sure she's not cheating on me. We're open about everything and are very faithful to each other. I'm upset...
