what do you do when this happens? give up? or be in pain of being with someone you hangout with all the time but can never have? does this reason even make sense because dont bf/gf become friends first before they date too?

I think you should take your time about this. The most important thing in any relationship is the friendship . It's what keeps it together. If he has the same feelings for you then it will happen eventually anyway. On the other hand it may be that he doesn't share your feelings and doesn't want to hurt you. If you value this friendship I'd say it's better to be patient than push him and risk losing a good friend.

This is a very tricky one. If he knows how you feel but says that he doesn't want to take it into different territory it's usually because he doesn't feel the same way about you. Sorry. If the sexual attraction was there he'd take the chance.

I would advise you to still hang around as friends if you can but perhaps you need to admit to yourself that it's probably not going to happen.

I know how you feel. I have had a few occasions where I would have liked for a friendship to go further. Don't do anything impulsive either way. Don't push with him. Keep going on with your regular social life and be open to the possibility of new relationships.

if he/she are not intersted to be your speacial one,dont be sad....you are supposed thank to god because he/she still want you to friend...that means he/she dont want to lose you....so you still have a chance to steal his/her heart...so my friend dont give up....
