Roughly two years ago, I moved to DC and began a career as a Legislative aid with the Institute for Legislative Action (ILA), a division of the NRA and an organization that is devoted to the protection of the individual right to bear arms, a right enshrined in the Second Amendment Constitutional Rights of all Americans.
While I have experienced a great deal of professional success, and have no intention of abandoning my career, or the fight to protect the Constitutional rights of Americans, I've noticed that many of the women in this city seem to loose interest in me after I answer one of their inquiries about the nature of my career.
I was wondering if I would experience more success if I either described my job in the vaguest terms, stating merely that I worked for a lobbyist organization and then describing it in more detail once I have established a connection with her or if women would feel that I was being dishonest.
