In the song "What hurts the most" from Rascal Flatts, they sing:
"what hurts the most: is being so close, and having so much to say, and watching walk away.
And never knowing, what could have been, and not seing that loving you, that's what I was trying to do..."

In your opinion, what really hurts the most? I think that what hurts the most, is remembering the good times, knowing you can't have them again, regretting that you haven't show him/her how much you loved him/her, having to see him/her everyday, but not being able to come close again, to hold them... There is a lot of things that hurts so bad... but what really hurts the most? =(

my bf and i go to the same university.he lives in an apartment that he rents and i live in this really nice dorm-you know the ones with each person's room,a living area/room,a kitchenette and a vanity and bathroom and a small fridge.but i share everything else except my room with my room mate. my bed is not the best bed to sleep in and up until now my bf did not have have a problem spending the night in my room in my dorm. last night he decided to spend the night over which was rare since he stopped doing it in a long time-spending the night over- and today he complains about how the bed is too hard and not big enough-well, it is for one person! then he says that this is the reason/s why he spends the night at my place so rarely.felt so hurt because he could not actually say those words until now and to get back at him i told him that i hate his bed and his place which is so untrue:i did that because he complained so much.is it right what i did and is it right what he also did to me ?

I've been going out with someone for about 2 weeks now. I used to see her a lot on the weekdays and weekends but now time is only really limited to the weekends. We are both 18. I am her first boyfriend however, and I have been with other girls before, so I am not really new to this whole thing, but it feels really new because she hasn't been with anyone before. I want to know when I should make the big moves. Like the big steps...how can I go about introducing these bigger steps without getting shut down or a slap in the face? Also, what could we do together on the weekends except go to the movies and dinner. We both live in a very small town and we have to drive like 40 minutes away to really do anything (this including going to the movies) I spend time at her house a lot but I feel stupid going there all the time. What could we do that is fun and new but doesnt contain movies and her house? Thanks for all your help.

Is it true? Some gets uglier as they get older. The girl I like, I saw her younger days photo about 18-20 years old, she doesn't look as pretty as she is now which she is 27 years old now.

i just got off the phone with my girlfriend and SUDDENLY she's not sure if she's happy with me, yesterday we were talking about having kids and getting a house, the day before that she was sitting with me all night on the couch head on shoulder all that, now today she's going to her dad's house but her phone is turned off after she told me all this about she doesn't know what she wants, she's done this before and a couple of days later she tells me she's just screwed up and she wants me and she's sorry all that bs. i love her so much but these mixed signals are driving me crazy, she's already admitted to cheating before but says it'll never happen again, it hurts, i've already bought her a ring, but i don't know which person is going to be there when i ask her the one who loves me to death or the one who's not sure what she wants. one day i'm everything she could ask for the next ishe doesn't know if she'll be happy. what the f@##!

Lets say you broke up or decided to stay friends with someone you use to date and you pulled a lie in order to get out of the situation or to not hurt the guys feelings...

Would you feel guilty and start ignoring the person you use to date if you started seeing someone else shortly afterwards? How do you usually act in this type of situations for having lied to them?

i met this guy 6 yrs ago and we got along good at first he had 3 kids to previous girl which i had no problem with well i found out i was pregent so i had no other chose but to keep it then i got pregnet again with twins kept them last year me and all the kids went on vac. togather to my home town in pa so here i am with 6 kids driveing from florida to pa for a nice vac and while we were there he desides to step out well it was over i had enough now he wont stop calling emailing me being stupid and is denieing our children i try to be nice but it is very hard i moved ion with my life and he dont like it what should i do

I'm currently dating this guy. I'm 18 and he's 26. The age factor isn't my concern. My concern is that we are different. He likes to go out to the bars and have a few beers and so forth. He doesn't drink like he used to, in fact he has been cutting back on it. But I'm totally not into drinking, it just isn't my thing. It never has been and it probably never will. I'm not saying I will never drink...I'm just not the type that is going to go out every weekend to get wasted, and he knows this. He also likes to go to Atlantic City every now and then to gamble, again not my thing. I really like him though, because he is a really nice guy and he likes me. Do you think our differences will present any problems?

Ok, let's see if I can make this fairly short. So my comoany just went on a cruise to the bahamas (had a blast). There is this guy from same company, different location. We met before when he had to drive up to us to make a delivery. Some chemistry but neither of us acted on it,he tried but I brushed him off. I was engaged then. So anyway we meet up again on the cruise and were pretty much inseperable. We each did our separate thing (him with the guys, me with the girls) In our business meetings he kept staring at me. Long story short for 2 of the 3 nights we were cruisin he stayed with me in my room. We had sex (very good sex) one night, the other night we just chilled and talked. After a break up, I sued my ex for money I loaned him. I also got a restraining order to ensure he would not bother me again. A few weeks ago, he started calling me again, and since I wasn't mad at him anymore, I agreed to hang out with him. We were getting along, and got back together. Since I figured we were trying to work things out, I dropped the lawsuit. (It was never about the money, anyways.) Now, I regret dropping the lawsuit, since I am pretty sure we'll be breaking up soon. Should I refile the paperwork to take him back to court, or should I just let everything go when we break up, and never deal with him again? Or should I stick it out and put forth an effort to salvage our relationship?

a guy broke your heart not once ,not twice, but three times in like 3 weeks and in the midst of ya'll struggle he got another woman pregnant and decides he wants to be with her and not you, but he still tells you he loves you and he comes to see you, but you can't get him out of your system because ya'll had so much together and ya'll shared everything together. and you know the bridge is burned because ya'll both got ya'll parents involved so there's no way of going back to the way it was. you want to get over him but its so hard. in the midst of all of that, you yourself might be pregnant.
