There's a girl in my class who I really like. We used to like each other for a while even though we didn’t talk that much. Anyway, it now seems like she really hates me for no reason and I think that she knows that I still like her. When I start talking to her it seems like she's trying to ignore me... I think it could do with the fact that I talk to other girls more than I do to her (these girls are her friends). Would totally ignoring her for a few days do any good? I'm thinking about asking her why she hates me so much. What should I do!? I would really appreciate your honest advice.

ok, heres a lil about me, i was the star athelete in my high school, i went on to play college f-ball, i scored a 1250 on my sat's so im no dummy, everyone tells me im hillarious, im easy to talk to, open to just about nething, outgoing, i still keep in shape, im a marine now, brown hair blue eyes, i go shopping with my friends that are girls and they tell me what looks hot on me so i have some sort of style. so why i it so har for me to find a good, steady realtionship with someone. i have a sh*t ton of friends that are girls but no "real connections". whats wrong with me?

OK here is thing!!! My mom passed away when I was 15 and i am now 18. What i am worried about is that all of my sisters and my brothers have gotten better!!! Like they are able to think about her without crying and only being able to think about the way she passed away!!! my question is how can I make this heartache go away and start only thinking about the good times that we had with her instead of the bad?!?!?! plz help Tell me what to do?!?!

My bf is from another country. I know he loves me that much. But we got financial problems so we are apart from the start. He said one day that he cannot overcome the distance between us anymore and met somebody new days ago and it is over for us. He said he did not see a future for us together due to financial reasons of travelling. I am still hopeful that we can be in the end one day. What should I do? Hope? I love him so much...pls help...

I'm 19 years old, and i just started college. I graduated from highschool on June 2006. I met this guy through my little sister at the time was a freshmen @ my highschool and I was a senior. He was also a freshmen. We both met around Feb. We both became close friends and we called eachother "twins", we both made our own handshake and we sometimes shared gloves. At that time i was dating someone else. He seen me dating and he caught me kissing my boyfriend. Then after i broke up with my ex, I felt more free. Then when my summer vacation came. I started to miss him, and i noticed that i had a crush on him. I told him, then he became confused about me. Then he went after me, @ first i denied him. Then on sep 23, 2006 we became a couple.Now were together for 3 months. Now im falling for him and I want to be with him, but my parents wont accept him because of the age difference. His 15 and im 19. His taller then me and he makes me happy, idk what to do. He truely means alot to me. Help!

At least ten times a day someone asks what to do about a friend they are secrectly in love with. And 99% of the people say "Just tell" it has been my experience that this rarely works, in fact I can't think of a single case where it has ever worked and I want to know if there are any true life tales of it working out.

Preferably tales where a friend told YOU they liked you.

A week ago i told a friend of mine that it would be better that we didn't talk so i can get over my crush on him since he's in a long distance relationship with another girl. Before this happened, we joked around about hooking up, but then i felt bad about us joking about it. Three days ago, I wrote him a letter telling him how i felt about us joking around, and the fact we just treat each other as professionals and he didn't even say hi or acknowledge that he got the letter. He didn't even say anything at all and still hasn't. What do you think he's thinking?

i have liked this guy sam for ages. he's such a nice guy. a couple of weeks ago, through friends sam and i started to become friends, i was so happy.

i was at the gas station one night walking out and there he was. so we talked for a while and he was really nice, then i told him i had to go and we kissed. my life was COMPLETE! i walked on smiling and he tells me to stop and he says he shouldn't have done that and he's sorry....thats does he mean by that!? does he like me or what? why? it really hurts. i had liked him for months before he even knew me and then this finally happens and BAM.... he's 17 in a couple of weeks.

i don't think it was a spur of the motment thing. he looked me in the eye, put his arms around me and kissed me....i just don't get it.

and before yous say anything, no, it's not goning to lead to sex.... yea, other people of my age do, but i'm not going to. i will NEVER let anyone tell to me otherwise. if they don't like...tough.

I have noticed that if a women is single in church and happens to be divorced, other women treat her like she is some sort of whore. I am single and my ex is a dead beat father and husband we divorced because he wouldn't stop drinking and he did cheat. if I even smile at a man in church the women assume I am up to no good. It makes me not want to go to church if that is how they show you love. I get dirty looks all the time and I know I would not try to "steal" someone's man...any advice? I also notice that if I am around anyone's husband they will start talking about their marriage as if I am suppposed to pick up on thier hint that they are happy It makes me feel like the biggest sinner in the world because I am divorced and like I am some sort of failure

I wrote about my guy friend who "can't get a date to save his life" in 2 other posts. He is very insecure & self-hating. He is a nice, very inoffensive person, yet b*tches at the bar are really mean to him(1 or 2 times, he literally got slapped at hello!). People suggested that he find a nice church girl, but he is NOT the church type! He is AFRAID of chuch & feels guilty when he (rarely) enters one! He told me that he's waaay more liberal than most churchgirls he's metThey also suggested him finding girls at places of "nerdy" hobbies, such as libraries, video games, etc...but he's not into any of that stuff either! He could *try* to get into video games, but it'd be more as a way for him to try to get girls than anything else. So basically, he's too inscure/shy for the obnoixous bar scene, but he also doesn't fit in with the churchgoers, computer geeks, etc either. He doesn't seem to fit in anywhere! (Oh and PS, I am NOT an option for him)He's at a big disadvantage. What should he do?

Ok people are asking if I went out with the player guy or stood him up. I was going to stand him up and kind of play this cruel joke on him but he called me like 10 times trying to tell me he was not a player and all of that stuff (yeah right) so I went but I showed up late. Nothing happened but I don't know that I want to hang out with him again because he was weird and boring.

A complicated situation. A friends with benefits relationship with 35 year old mother of 3 divorced with bipolar. She already had another friends with benefits relationship with another man who had been living with his girlfriend for 3 years.

The mind games were:-
1-Telling me she was having sex with a person she met in nightclub but did not tell the other man
2-Going on dating websites to find other men and not telling other man (I thought this was ok as at least she was trying to find someone more suitable)
3-Deciding she didn't want sex with me, didn't want to date and was happy with relationship with other man

I then informed the other man what she had been sleeping around (unacceptable i know but done in heat of moment)


Were these mind games acceptable? What would you have done in this situation?

Most people I have told have said she treated me like s**t, to forget about her although they said I should not of told the other man
