Breaking up with somebody is not an easy task but if it is not meant to be then could be the best in the long run.Be honest with this person about your feelings in a nice way if you can, explain that you don`t want to hurt their feelings but you in your heart it is not working out for you.Sit them down and break it to them gently expect tears.........good luck.

tell the truth.. and the truth will set you free! Both parties involved will then be able to make a rational decision. Stop the fighting and just face the facts. Put all the cards on the table. good luck!

Telling the person the truth, It's not working for you. Remember they may be upset with you intially, but in the long run, they will appreciate the fact that you told them the truth, didn't string them along and set them free to allow someone else to love them.

WOW at this question...I'm going through it right now...I personally am doing it very slowly...we've been together for 5 years and have a 2 1/2 year old baby girl...He's going to be staying with his daughter and come here to visit our baby girl...I ccan't just say "Get your crap and get out"...It's not in me to hurt him more than he already is...
HOWEVER...
If there WASN'T a baby involved...I'd do it as quickly and painfully as possible...I'd just say "Things aren't working out...we have to end this...I'm sorry...I'd like to remain friends if we could...or at least be civil to one another when we see each other...

i agree with the above, to be honest dont give any of those cheesy lines "its not you its me" or "maybe were best as friends" because that just makes people feel worse, explain why relationship cannot go on and in the end youll both meet people your meant to be with.

Take a dump in her underwear drawer. Without fail I have been dumped every time I have done this. Takes the onus off of you, and she feels like shes had a lucky escape..........everyones a winner!
