Can someone help me figure out what's going on in his head?
A week ago i told a friend of mine that it would be better that we didn't talk so i can get over my crush on him since he's in a long distance relationship with another girl. Before this happened, we joked around about hooking up, but then i felt bad about us joking about it. Three days ago, I wrote him a letter telling him how i felt about us joking around, and the fact we just treat each other as professionals and he didn't even say hi or acknowledge that he got the letter. He didn't even say anything at all and still hasn't. What do you think he's thinking?

I think he is thinking if he ignores you then you will accept what he told you and leave him alone. He told you he is dating another girl, why did you feel the need to write him? You have made things worse by that. If you have accepted what he said and wished him well, you would still have your friend but pining after him when he has a clearly told you he is seeing someone else was the worst thing you could have done.

it sounds like he likes you and he was going to get a chance to be with you and you lead him.... you can joke about stuf fwith guys becasue we think that you are not joking and that you want to tactually do the stuff even though he is in the long term relationship..... and then you did that and killed any chance of being with you.... he is pissed off at you because you put him in the friend zone

It is clear that you haven't lost your feelings for your ex-boyfriend; it takes time, I went through it once. Even though it hurts, you have to stop communicating with him, no letters, no telephone calls, absolutely nothing, and when you chance to meet him, only a civil hello will suffice and nothing else. Maybe he just wants a woman in both places. Now he knows he does not have a shot with you he has moved on. Face it most guys just want SEX.

He is interested in someone else - not you. That is who he is thinking about and that is what is going on in his head. You need to move on. Don't write him again.

he may not be taking it as serious as you are. if he's a freind to you...just ask him.
if he doesn't have any intention on splitting with his girlfriend...he may not know how to tell you
