Maybe you knew him before and you thought he was too ugly, or annoying, or shy, or something like that. But then something came over you and you decided to give it a shot - and it worked out? What changed your mind? I know my own mother said she NEVER wanted to date my father, let alone marry him...but sometimes things work out in mysterious ways. Here's the thing, I'm a decent looking guy 5'11 170lbs short brown hair wear glasses and exercise everyday. The thing is that there is a super gorgeous girl in one of my college classes that I overheard tell someone that she didn't have a boyfriend. Now, personally I think she is our of my league, but I want to try and see if she'll go out with me sometime....how can I start a conversation with here? What do I say? Ok, basically my sister has been with the same guy for very nearly 5 years, but the other day she asked ME if I thought she loved him. The thing is that he has told her he wants to get married and have kids but if they have a row he says he'd never marry or have kids with her and it's really confusing her.

She met another guy who's only a friend but he tells her that she's beautiful and deserves better etc etc. She told me the other day that she can't even remember the last time her bf told her she was beautiful.

If I tell her she should leave him, she might still love him and regret it for the rest of her life. If I tell her to stay and try to work it out, he could keep messing with her head, never get anywhere, and in the meantime she could have had a really good relationship.

I don't want to give her the wrong advice because I obviously don't want her hurt, but I really don't know what I can tell her that might help.
