last year i helped my daughter from time to time with what i could financially. well we would talk on the phone sometimes 3-6 times a day. well now that she has her income tax money she is acting funny. now when i call her she says with attitude, mom what do you want now. she is acting like im bothering her. well i talk to her about it and she got defensive. well im mad becuz i deserve better respect than that. she should get the big head cuz she got a couple of thousand dollars. that wont last, then she'll be begging again. i feel used and mistreated. what should i do?

I have been engaged to the man of my dreams for over a year now. He recently took a new job, (that he loves) but he has to travel away for weeks at a time. When he is home, all I want to do is spend time with him. Yet, I hardly ever get alone time with him. (Besides right before bed) He wants to spend time with his friends and family when he is home. Is it selfish of me to want him to myself for a little while during the day when he is home?
I get so upset, because we used to spend a lot of one-on-one time together. And now, I almost feel like we are so distant from one another. I have talked to him about it, so he knows how I feel. Any advice on how we can overcome this?

We have known eachother through friends since the ninth grade (seniors this year). In ninth grade I was like: "Oh he seems like a really nice guy" but he wasn't my type. He is a really nice guy and I was always attracted to bad boys (Although I myself am a good girl). He flirted a little bit then, but I didn't notice. Well the end of tenth grade I started to REALLY like him a lot, I was so nervous I could hardly talk to him, yet again he would always stare at me, and always pay close attention to every word I said. We shared/share a lot of same interest such as: movies, music, friends, life styles, etc. We always end up talking about the craziest things and we are often the only ones left laughing in the room. Lately we have hung out a couple of times, and each time there are several things such as: staring, laughing at things I say, when we talk he looks into my eyes for minutes on end, etc, etc. I always leave thinking he must like me, but I am not sure. I really wish I knew for sure

I'm 16, I'm overweight and I don't think I can get a boyfriend. But this 400 pound girl in my grade has a boyfriend. I don't want to be the only one person who hasn't had a boyfriend. I don't want to die a virgin, but at this rate, I think I will. x_x I mean, I don't *need* a boyfriend, and most of the time, I don't *want* one, but I also sort of do want one--as an experience, I just feel weird and abnormal. I know I shouldn't rush into it, but...I just feel the need for a meaningless relationship like every other girl my age has. But then again, what's the point of the meaningless relationship? I usually scoff at the pointlessness of teenage dating. It's shallow, it's unimportant, and it goes nowhere...or does it? I just want to try and see it for myself, but I can't stand any boys at my school or anything, and I'm not desirable. I don't understand how the meanest, most unpleasant girls get the best guys. x_x

I was asked out by what I consider to be a very hot guy the other day. I cried when I found out he'd been hiding it from me. He said he knew I would freak out about it so he didnt want me to know. And he hides it from his parents too. Stuff like that scares me since I grew up around a man who hid drugs from me. Was my boyfriend right in what he did? Or am I right? Today my boyfriend punched me in the face while I was drivng and gave me a cut on my face! I turned him in and he is now sitting in jail! I just watched this movie and found it really fascinating. I thought about it a lot and I definitely would sleep with a guy for a $1 million. I would probably fulfill any fantasy he had for that much. After thinking about it a little more, I would probably do it for $1000. Does that make me a slut? i loved dressing like punks and goths do, i appreciate it, i also love reggae music and emo stuff like that, im also an acitivist , but suddenly it became an "in" thing in the philippines, like everyone is acting like they are goths and punks, there are bands everywhere and many dress as if they are members of my chemical romance,it was so much fun dressing that way when it was not yet popular, but right now i dont want to be different anymore, its seems as if being different is the normal thing and the abnormal thing to do is be normal, so i am planning to go back to dressing normally and just act normal
im starting to get sick of all those who keep on dressing like me.i feel it has lost its originality
many even wear che guevarra shirts when they dont even know who che guevarra is, i blame capitalism

He's in his early 30s now and was sexually abused by an adult male when he was about 9 or 10. The adult was not a relative. He did a little counseling when he was 21 or 22 but nothing since. He is a warm, responsible, loving man, but I know he needs to get back into therapy. The fact that he was sexually abused as a kid is affecting our relationship physically and emotionally. He says he can fix it on his own and I know he can't. But he won't go to counseling. How can I convince him to go to counseling so he can help himself and, in turn, strengthen our relationship? I love him and care about him. I don't want to see him hurt so much. But at the same time, when do I know it's time to give up and let him go? We've been together for over a year. Thanks for your help.

Met this girl blind date, talked on phone for hours, met in person had a good time, we still talk on phone but her interest has cooled down signifigantly. she does not call me only returns calls.
