I like a guy whose 13 years older than me (I'm 24, he's 37). What do you think of relationships with a considerable age difference? Anybody have any personal experience with this scenario?thanks

I'm 21 and last year I dated a guy who was 37. I had the time of my life. We did so many things together and had so much fun. Just make sure that he is single. The guy I ended up dating for nearly 5 months turned out to be a complete butthead. I still have feelings for him though... to the point - Age is but a number. If you're happy and comfortable with it, go for it. If you have any other questions e-mail me: filmgrl56@yahoo.com ;) Take care.

Good Question! My wife is 11 years younger than I am. I am 47 she is 36. This is my 3rd marrage. We get along better than all the girl friends and wifes I have had all put together I think because of it. I think it is because I am more mature and not too young to think about having an affair. I am at that stage of my life where I rationalize everything. Like what will be the gain? from this or that? I know when I was younger I was always tempted to mess around. Not anymore I could care less how pretty a girl is or how strong she comes on. I know the results are not worth it. So unless Pamela Anderson or Angela Jolie come at me nothing is going to happen lol!

Good luck, I hope this helps :)

The oldest I've ever gone was 10 years different which was a little strange because we used different slang words, being a decade apart and all.

Currently I am in a relationship with a guy 6 years my elder. Its great and what I'm into, so if you are into older guys and he is nice and will treat you right then go for it! I personally think older guys know how to treat their women better and are less of a sexaholic because they have already gotten that stage over in their life

I am 25 and currently dating a man that is 40. When we are out we have a great time together and everything feels fine. However when we are apart and I am hanging out with my friends, we all go over the point of why is he still single and never married. That is the one hang-up I can't seem to get over just yet. Other than that, things are great. I say if you are comfortable around each other, it does not matter what the age difference is.

hi! Age is just a number. You should never let it affect you. My boyfriend is 19 years older than me but we have a great relationship. We have been dating for a few years now and love each other VERY much!
So go ahead and stop wasting time worrying about some silly numbers! =)

I think the older you get the more age doesn't matter. My fiance is 6 years older than me and we get along wonderfully so I think that if the two of you have a lot in common and have fun together then age should not matter. (Unless of course one of the parties is a minor then there are other issues to consider)

I know a couple who have a 14-year difference between them, and they've been together since forever. Age really ain't nothin' but a number when true love steps into play.

When I married my wife I was 40 and she 27 (13 years)
We are now married 21 years.

We had no noticeable problems. Now , my get up and go has gone. I don't like to dance as much as nearly as much as I used too.

She does call me Daddy.

Good luck!

My maternal grandmother was 21 years younger than my maternal grandfather...then she married my stepgrandfather and he is 13 years her junior. Age is just a number...as long as it is over 18!!
