how much time can it take to move on after a breakup...? can it take months and years reminding yourself of the person ..? Can someone not move on after all , eventhough, he has someone else to replace that person, he has lost, but still sometimes have contact with his ex ..? and can someone never find someone as their 1st love and perpetually love the 1st and cry her during his life..?

attractive and friendly. he flirts with me quite alot. I have noticed though that he also seems to flirt with other girls. even though I am sure he isnt the one for me I am still very interested in him for one reason or another. so my question is...do you think he flirts with me to make tips? or because thats just his personality? or because he actually is interested in me?

My "boyfriend" is kinda strange. He is very non-vocal. I really really care about him. He never asked me out officially... but says he would be hurt if I wanted to go on a date with someone else or something... and that if he didn't want to be with me, he wouldn't call me all the time, etc.. He is a truck driver and is gone 5 days a week, in Canada, so we can't even talk on the phone. His previous relationship lasted 7 years and he NEVER told her he loved her... he says he's just that type of person, it took him until he was 25 before he even said it to his mom... I am afraid he won't tell me he loves me, and I won't ever really know how he feels! I am a very verbal person, and express how I feel in any way possible. He keeps emotions, good and bad, to himself... I am also sad that he is gone so much, especially just starting out a relationship.. we have been seeing each other for about a month... should I stay with him??

I just cannot accept the fact that my ex and I are over. I loved him so much. I've constantly been crying over it. I just feel like I will be forgotten and that he doesn't miss me, eventhough I have been so good to him. We broke up because he has many problems and he doesn't want me to get involved in them because I don't deserve to be dealing with such problems. He is a drug addict, and it seems to have consumed him. I wish I could help him, but I know he doesn't want me involved in all of this. I really loved him and I wish he would go to rehab and we could get back together. I've been chatting with another guy that I have always liked a bit but I just don't feel like it will work. I would invite him to hangout but he would seem to have plans. He says that he wants to hangout but he gets so busy. It always seems to be at the times that I want to see him. We have been having nice conversations lately. I usually iniate them. I don't know what to do. I miss my ex.

me and my ex have been through kinda a lot. we met like a year and a half ago. we went out for a couple months and then his ex was telling me that he was with someone else and then his friend was saying the same thing and also he had been on IM talking to me and he said he was going out with someone else....but it was a joke. a couple days later i broke up with him but l8r that night he called and asked me back out. so we went back out but then a lil over a month later we broke up again. about about 3 months l8r we went back out again and 2 weeks l8r he broke up with me and i had found out that it was all a bet. he got money for going out with someone out of state for a couple weeks.then about 2 months l8r he told me he had made a huge mistake and he still loves me and misses me and he had torn his room up b/c he was mad that he hurt someone he loved so much.so we went out again. after about a month he stopped talking 2 me and we never realli broke up.we havent talked for 4 months...

Hello, I am a 23 year old male. I've had like 5 girlfriends in my life, lost my virginity at 13 years old, and lived with a chick for about 6 months, ending about a year ago.

When I go out, I am fairly good at attracting the opposite sex, usually ending up in getting phone numbers, sometimes making out. However I get their numbers, and I don't ever feel like calling them. I go to the club or bars or something every friday and saturday, and chill on sundays, but it takes a major effort on my part to ever call these girls, and I don't really feel like asking them out. What is it? I don't think I'm scared or anything. I just never feel a connection or whatever... Now its been about six months and I haven't got no *** in a while, but I don't really sweat it... Is there something wrong with me? opinions please..

well i dont get why black guys give me so much crap about dating a white boy, i mean black gurls did the samething when they dated white gurls, because we wanted to stay in our race, but now that black womenhave decided to stop doing that, they wanna say stuff, i mean everybody stares at us because they arent used to seeing that combination, but is it necessary for them to say things to me and my boyfriend, i mean it was ok for black men to do and we got over it for the most part, but now that it is the other way around its different, i know black guys who only like white women but laugh at me and my boyfriend!!!! i wish we could get rid of all the double standards in this country, my question is should we ignore it or react to it!!!!!

Ok, so my boyfriend posted this, and at first I thought it was sweet, then my dad and mom (who live in another state) saw it, and they got really upset and called me and were like are you having sex with him? I like this guy and he has always flirted w/ me in a class we sit next to eachother in.he'll look at me when something funny is said and comment, he'll just join in conversations im having w/ other people,he said he wasn't sure if he was gonna join this thing then i said i was and he was like then i prob will 2 then, he's kinda nosy when it comes to me(like he'll take a piece of paper off my desk and read it), and i am almost positive he looks at me in another class that we sit on opp. sides of the room. Well my friend thinks she let it slip to someone he's friends w/ on the phone or the possibility it was actually him (someone pretending to be someone else on the phone)that i like him but we don't know .Today was our first day back and he was still staring at me, but we basically said two words two eachother the whole day.
