If we'd been seeing each other for a while I'd tell him the day after, he'd deserve to feel like sh*t.

Sometimes so-called 'boyfriends' have a way of deliberately forgetting a girl's birthday. You have to question whether there are any occasions 'special' enough for your boyfriend to want to celebrate. I dated someone that acted as if my birthday did not exist, although he made a big deal about his sister's birthday (and gave her a thoughtful gift) and it was hard to accept that he just 'wasn't that into me'. I realized quickly that the situation wasn't going to change, so I left him. Good Luck

You need to decide if this is a forgiveable offense. Is this a guy who is normally very thoughtful and just got distracted and then remembered it on his own but too late? Or is this just another in a series of you being taken for granted by a guy who can't remember your birthday but probably knows the batting average of every guy in the baseball league and the score of every Superbowl, etc.? If this was just an accidental slight, move on, it's not worth the hassle. If it's indicative of your relationship, move on, but without him!

This happened to me last year. I was really angry and very disappointed. I let him know how much too. We had made plans to do something before he went to work and he forgot the day totally. My disappointment was really enough and he felt bad. He did get someone at work to cover so he could pass by so he really was sorry and made up for it. Just let him know how you feel. If it was an accident he will make up for it and feel really bad.

Well if you want him to feel bad you could show him what someone else gave you for your birthday. maybe he has plans to do something after your birthday you didn't say what day it fell on. give him a second chance

Throw a ******* fit. Break up with him and make him BEG you to take him back. That is the appropriate course of action in this horrendous situation.

Men are pretty dumb. It probably wasn't intentional. It pays to drop a lot of not so subtle hints prior to your birthday.

I would be pissed. But that also depends how long you are in a relationship. If it's a new one you gotta let it go.
