I have noticed though that he also seems to flirt with other girls. even though I am sure he isnt the one for me I am still very interested in him for one reason or another. so my question is...do you think he flirts with me to make tips? or because thats just his personality? or because he actually is interested in me?

obviously he is going to flirt and talk to people to make tips and get them to return to his bar...did he ask for your number? i have dated a couple bartenders in my life and let me say they were far from being shy. they are usually very forward and not afraid to ask for a number or try to schedule a time to meet up (other than his place of employment). enjoy the flirting but try not to read too much into anything unless one of you is willing to just ask the other out.
