My "boyfriend" is kinda strange. He is very non-vocal. I really really care about him. He never asked me out officially... but says he would be hurt if I wanted to go on a date with someone else or something... and that if he didn't want to be with me, he wouldn't call me all the time, etc.. He is a truck driver and is gone 5 days a week, in Canada, so we can't even talk on the phone. His previous relationship lasted 7 years and he NEVER told her he loved her... he says he's just that type of person, it took him until he was 25 before he even said it to his mom... I am afraid he won't tell me he loves me, and I won't ever really know how he feels! I am a very verbal person, and express how I feel in any way possible. He keeps emotions, good and bad, to himself... I am also sad that he is gone so much, especially just starting out a relationship.. we have been seeing each other for about a month... should I stay with him??

SURE you can talk to him on the phone - thats what the magic of cell phones are about - thats how the truckers up here keep in contact with their families all over north america.... if he's using that as an excuse for not keeping in touch with you while on the road, dump him. he's a liar.

No, you shouldn't. Both people need to be happy in a relationship. Look at it this way, if it's only been a month and he can't fulfill your needs/wants/desires, I doubt he'll be able to do it for the long haul.

Also, a good indication of a way he'll treat you is the way he treated his mother. If it took him 25 years to say I love you to her, then run, fast!

Actions speak louder then words. Give it time, it's just to soon to expect anything out of each other. Just enjoy each other, make memories and see where it will go.
