How do you get over being insecure?

How long have you been in the relationship and what does he do that makes you feel insecure. The best thing to make a relationship work is to communicate with each other. You should both be willing to talk about things you like in the relationship and things you don't like.

If you can't talk about those things and come to a mutual understanding, then you don't have anything. If you can't develop that, then you should move on.

You'll feel more confident in time. There's no 'easy button', but there ways you can address the problem, such as self-development (self help) books and tapes available through a public library or bookstore. Ask a guidance counselor, teacher, or someone else that you look up to for recommendations. Practice appearing confident and you may be able to get away with 'faking it until you make it.' In any event, it's perfectly normal and probably indicates that you strive for perfection. I would perfer an insecure friend to a cocky 'know it all' type anyway. You'll gradually see improvements if you keep on trying. Good Luck

I think the only way to stop being insecure is to see the good in you and not that. Many people tend to focus on the bad and not in the good they poses. If you tend to be insecure in your relationship and want to stop... try to find ways on how you can focus your attention on other things. Or you can take the bad and make it good.
Unless you feel confident in yourself and in the relationship, your always gonna feel insecure.

I think it's something that comes in time. I'm sorry I can't really offer a better solution, but trust me when I say it can be done. I used to be extremely insecure, but now I'm not.

Buy a well trained Doberman. Dough, it may scare people who want to be with you... Therefore, you'll be secure in your relationships, cuz you won't have one... lol ;)
