Have you ever experienced the sensation of being alone, eventhough, u're with someone ...probably, because, you don't have a connection with that person, or because that person is not returning your feelings back the same way ..?

Yeah I've felt that way. Its not a good feeling. More so if you know that your partner doesn't feel equally about you.
I had a relationship with a guy who I adored but he was cold no matter how hard he tried to cover it up. I knew deep inside he didn't feel much for me. It tore me apart. It probably lead me to my depression.

Its not worth staying in a relationship when you know your partner doesn't love you. Also forceing love on them won't make the situation any better.

You should listen to the Bon Jovi's song> Bed of roses.

There is this line> Tonight I won't be alone, but that don't mean I'm not lonely...

maybe you are still attached to your X. But my case is that I'm fed up with lies, and all those love games, cuz I mastered them. There's nothing new for me. But I am a person who can't stand of being alone physically. I don't mean that I can't stand not to have sex, or anything like that. I just need to be surrounded with people, no matter who they are. Family, friends, boyfriend. But with whoever I'm with I feel alone. Like , with my bf, everything is cool, he's good, funny, charming, all that. But he isn't a person who can make me feel divine. because he doesn't understand me. So until my Mr right comes, I know, with whoever I'm going to be, i will be alone. Maybe you are just waiting someone special who will rock your world, knock you off your feet...
If that's the case, then I wish good luck for both of us...

yes..I've felt that way before...it is usually b/c the other person isn't returning ur feelings...or the other peron/u r thinkin of someone else.. or fall out of love & r afraid to tell each other...Rhianna has a song on her cd,A Girl Like Me...called a million miles away that talks about people that are lying in the same bed but feel so far apart...good luck w/ ur situation...

You hit the nail on the head. It is both not feeling a connection or closeness that is reciprocated by that person. That is one of the major signs that it is time to either have a talk with that person or leave the relationship.

Yes. Like there is a whole inside of you. I have been in bars for christsakes and felt so alone. I have to be comfortable with myself. I had to love myself.
