how much time can it take to move on after a breakup...? can it take months and years reminding yourself of the person ..? Can someone not move on after all , eventhough, he has someone else to replace that person, he has lost, but still sometimes have contact with his ex ..? and can someone never find someone as their 1st love and perpetually love the 1st and cry her during his life..?

No. You need to get out there and meet some new chicks. As soon as you meet someone else, you'll feel a lot better. If that doesn't work out, guess what......it doesn't hurt nearly as bad. You have to accept that when that first love didn't work out, you learned a lot of valuable life lessons about what you want in a relationship. It's a start.

I don't believe you will ever forget them, but it can take a long time to get over someone. It always takes me a long time. I always think that they were the one and I'll never find anyone else in the whole wide world who will love me or take care of me. Truth is, I tell myself a whole bunch of lies. I met the best guy yet and we are very happy together.
Let yourself grieve the relationship and when you are ready, move on.

There isn't a set amount of time. It depends on the severity of feelings involved. If its a first love it can last your intire life. Love can fade but for some, it doesn't totally disappear.

if ur tryin to move on from a first love it could take along time..I've been tryin to get over my first love for over a year & a half...u have to try ur hardest to date other people...& when udate other people don't compare them to ur first love...but if u really realy can't get over someone...maybe ur not supposed too...good luck...don't worry...whatever happens happens...

it can take a lifetime. it´s o.k. not to forget somebody and it´s o.k. to love somebody new, too. you can never find someone like your first love again, but you might do even better!
