I've been dating this guy for a year now. Sometimes he would just not call me for like 2 days all of a sudden. It's not normal b/c we talk at least once a day. So when he does that it really bothers me b/c in the past he didnt call me for a week and broke up with me. So any day he didnt call i feel like it could be the start of another week leading to breakup. And sometimes he would say i'll call you tonight but never did. Although he's busy but he never did this to me in the first 6 months we went out. Should i put up with this or break up with him?

I am 34 y/o. I'd like to think I am average looking in that I always make sure I am dressed nicely before stepping out of my house. I have a shapely body but I'm not obesed or fat. I own my house and car and I have one 11 son who lives with me. I am a communicator and always voice my opinions while considering the feelings of others. My issue is this always lands me in the position of being hurt. How should I approach my next relationship or should I approach it at all? At 34, should I hang it up for a bit? And how long ? Just out what I thought was a serious of a relationship 5 weeks ago, should I start looking again? I am not too fond of playing around but would that be the thing to do?

Hi there. I care very much about my boyfriend (46 y/o). I also care very much about his son (21 y/o). His son lives at home with him. I live in my own apartment. I don't know what to do...My boyfriend tries to help his son out, but his son won't get a job, clean his room, or do much of anything to help himself to act like an adult. My boyfriend is fed up with his 21 y/o son. I feel that there needs to be a different approach than just barking orders at his son, since that doesn't work!!!! I take his son out to play pool, but all he does is complain about what a "jerk" his father is being. I feel so badly for their relationship! What can be done to help!

P.S. There's no mother in the picture. My boyfriend's son was rejected by his biological mother, who chose to use drugs instead of taking care of him. We broke up. One min he wants to be with me and around me adn the next he cant make time for me at all.

Last night i went over there to get a cd before play pratice.. when its time for me to leave he tells me not to.. to stay with him. so i do. imagine that.Then tells me to stay the night. i knew i couldnt do that tho. he tells me he loves me. he kisses me like he means it.

and not tonight. he cant talk to me for 5 lousey mins.

My boyfriend of 16 months thinks we should end our relationship because he's having a hard time letting something go from the past. Today, we drove down to the park and we talked for 3 hours and cuddled and kissed. But when he dropped me off, we said it would be the end, We still want to try to be friends. We've broken up before and we end up getting back together, but this time he says he's serious. My mom is going out of town tomorrow and I'm taking care of her appartment. I was thinking about asking him over to just screw around and be lazy with me, but I don't know if I should. We both want it, but we both know it wouldn't be super good for us in our cuurrent situation. What do you think? Should I invite him over and we can just have some fun with each other? Or should I forget it and just let us be friends? I really love him and he loves me too, but some things from our past are interupting our future. That was the only reason we really broke apart.

There is this guy that shops at my job, he tried to hit on me, I think he is at least 15-20 years older than me and I'm not even slightly interested in guys that old.I normally give a resounding "HELL NO!!" in cases like this,but since he shops at my job often, I don't want any trouble,So being the nice person that I am,I try to give obvious but non verbal hints that I don't like him,but he didn't get the message.So When he gives me his contact info, I take it,thinking that if I don't contact him,he'll really get the message.I realized this didn't work when weeks later I see him again.As my stomach acids churn from my anger,He asks with concern that he didn't see me in a long time and what happened(I WORK PART TIME YOU F%$! So, there's this guy i'm head over heels for. The only problem is he's 9 years older than me and he's best friends with my teacher.... So, i'm legal in a couple weeks (age of consent in pa is 16), but if my family and or the teacher found out.. it would be disaster.
