My boyfriend of 16 months thinks we should end our relationship because he's having a hard time letting something go from the past. Today, we drove down to the park and we talked for 3 hours and cuddled and kissed. But when he dropped me off, we said it would be the end, We still want to try to be friends. We've broken up before and we end up getting back together, but this time he says he's serious. My mom is going out of town tomorrow and I'm taking care of her appartment. I was thinking about asking him over to just screw around and be lazy with me, but I don't know if I should. We both want it, but we both know it wouldn't be super good for us in our cuurrent situation. What do you think? Should I invite him over and we can just have some fun with each other? Or should I forget it and just let us be friends? I really love him and he loves me too, but some things from our past are interupting our future. That was the only reason we really broke apart.

If you have sexual feelings for one another that's not love. If you have fun together that's not love. Love is being devoted to each other regardless of other choices. He's making another choice, so he's not "loving" you. If you want to have recreational sex then realize that's what it is, it will be easier for him to do it without an emotional reunion than for you. Women use sex to establish intimacy and connection. Men use it as an expression of power, unless there is a long term and exclusive committment. He's just not that into you or he'd stay once and for all. Have a good time and say goodbye.

If you love him and he loves you why break it off there is a little thing called Communication. I'm sure if you both love each other that much then you can work through it, BUT if y'all are thinking about breaking it off for good then girl don't invite him over because it'll only make you feel worse. Good Luck. Peace and Blessings

He doesn't love you. He loves HER. You just don't understand that do you? You think by being clingy and "perfect" he'll finally see it's YOU he should love. But he already gave his heart away to someone else. It's obvious that you don't know what love is..you need to let him go. Let him be by himself a little bit...or let him go to his true owner.

the past is exactly that..the past, don't let it get between you what happened to you yesterday will not affect who you are today, i don't think that there is anything wrong with inviting him as long as you are responsible

NO, THAT NOT A GOOD IDEA. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS THEN YOU NEED TO WORK IT OUT BEFORE
GETTING TOGETHER TO JUST FOOL AROUND. THAT MAY
JUST COMPLICATED THE SITUATION EVEN FURTHER,
FIND OUT WHAT YOU WANT FIRST THEN MAYBE DOWN
THE ROAD YOU CAN GET TOGETHER, NOT WOULD BE
A BIG MISTAKE.
