I never believed in "closure"... I always thought that was something that people made up so that they could have a reason to dwell in the past or have one last, good arguement.

Getting closure sounds so much like justifying yourself, and I guess I never thought I needed to.

I've hit a point where I feel like I can't move foward emotionally, and I wonder if it's because I haven't had proper closure with a couple of bad past experiences.

How do you do that? How do you let go of it?

A friend of mine says that guilt is like a bag of bricks, and all you have to do is put the bag down.

Is it really that simple? I mean, how do you make this happen?

Nymphomaniac? Up until after my divorce, I thought women didn't really like or enjoy sex. Every woman I had a relationship with after my divorce really enjoyed it. My gf really enjoys it. Ok so there's this girl that im friends with and so is my boyfriend (she's actually his ex from like the 5th grade). I go to her locker and there's a pic of him in there. She has a boyfriend, so why does she hang a pic of MY boyfriend in there. So he emails her, tells her im upset and to take the pic down. If a guy is has a hard time keeping up at a girl's level (intellectually, monetary status, career, etc) why would he go to the length of being competitive if he wanted a relationship w/that girl?

Case point: I think this guy that I'm seeing has a hard time being the "guy" in the relationship because he feels inadequate I guess, although I've showed him countless times that I like him. But now he is trying to get me to confide in him whenever I'd have a crisis or something, like he needs to feel like I need him. Is that being genuine? But why is he being competitive? He did tell another guy once, about me, to not feel intimidated by me. Why would he say that? What could be his problem? And would it be stupid of me if I did have a crisis & confided in him? Is he trying to be a "man" that way instead?

I met a guy who acted like a complete bachelor, but then found out that he is in a relationship. He only flirts with me, so nothing happened. I was just wondering how to react to him saying that he's not happy with her & wants someone he is attracted to? so, they're unreliable, not worth waiting for etc.. but why oh why do they all turn up at once?
here's the story, i've been single since june, split with my ex.. my decision, and i've enjoyed single life since then.. had a few dates, but there's man number 1.. let's call him S, who i've grown really close to and we've seen each other a few times and i'm not sure, but i may not be single much longer...
on the other hand, there's man number 2... let's call him C, ex colleague,never thought i would have touched him with a bargepole, but got to know him and think he's a really genuine, swee, funny guy. he left my work in august.. anyway, he ended up at the xmas party last week, and everyone seemed to be hooked on fixing the two of us up, and i wasn't gonna say no to a xmas kiss so flirted with him all night.. anyway, nothing happened, but we've been flirting ever since..
my dilemma.. i want man number 1... but how do i tell man number 2 i don't want him when i've been leading him on..

with my ex. We have been broken up for almost 2 years. Over the summer we starting talking again. He just walked away when we broke up, no official we are broken up or anything. Just ended all contact. I had met his friends and family and everything went well, his parents even hugged me goodbye. When he got back in contact with me, he said he missed me and he knew he was horrible. He just had issues that he needed to straighten out (they mostly had to do with committment). I had gotten over him but when he came back into my life it changed. What do I do? We are trying to be friends because we were friends before. He always contacts me when something bad happens in his life, i think i'm just confusing what used to be there with friendship.

breacking up with him is not an option.he asks me if i was flirting with any guys i said no.then later i said well this guy has called me hunni and i said it back. my boyfriend got angry at me for flirting and for lieing. he made me delete this other boys (the one that caled me hunni) address from my msn list so i did. he then asked me later on if i had his number and at first i said no but then i said yes.he got angry at me again for lieing and is now saying that he can hardly trust me. he says that i have to prove to him (not with words) that i am infact not cheating on him. and i cant talk with him untill i can prove to him with good evidence that i am not cheating. please help i love him and have no idea what i could do inorder to make him trust me again??? how can i prove to him that i am not cheating??p.s. i am not cheating on him and nothing i have said so far has convinced him that i am not cheating.breacking up is not an option because he says we wouldnt be friends after.

Ok whats up with this guy?
We split due to distance between us about 3 hrs. Anyways his idea not mine. So about 3 months later (now) he up and calls me and says lets do this lets try this thing and see what happens. Im ecstatic and jumping for joy. I really liked him. Well Friday I took him to my dad's side for Christmas and we had a ball we were all cuddly and all that. Later we went to Walmart and he was all over me and it felt great so when he dropped me off we hugged for the longest time and then had an awesome kiss! Well its Wed and havent heard nothing from him I called him on Christmas day to wish him a good one and had to leave a message.
Whats up with him ?
Im 23 and he's 28 so its not like were kids.

he is the sweetest person ever! but everyone hates him and it hurts me!
iv just split out with my boyfriend not to long ago we still talk but he has problems of his own! he drinks alot and then he get violent but not towards me! when he drinks alot he starts being nasty to my friends but he doesnt mean to! i dont know what to do!!!!! i do love him and i know he loves me but everyone hates him even my family! what do u think i should do?

Just so you guys know she was coming on to me first. And I started to like her. Well here's the drama enjoy :(
We are coworkers and I gave her a nice compliment saying I enjoy being around her. She said "that's so sweet." So as I left she went and asked one of my coworker friends if I had a crush on her. My friend said yes. She said well I think he's cute. My friend told me she thinks i'm cute so I went and told her that I have a crush on her. She said "that's so sweet. She gave me a hug and after we hug I told her I would of told her sooner, but you have a boyfriend. She didn't say anything about that really. So the next day she starts to flirt a lilttle. I didn't flirt back because she has a boyfriend.I gave this girl this letter well here's what it said When we first talk and after the conversation was over I started to like you. So everytime when you talk to me I get butterflies and feel tigly inside. Also when we make eye contact I get nervous. That's why you see me not making too much eye contact with you. I am currently dateing an older man who will not communicate in- between dates. The only time I do hear from him is when he calls me for a date.
