my bestfriend is a guy i've known for 6 years, he won a basket-ball game, so i gave him a kiss, does this count as cheating on my boyfriend???

It depends on the type of kiss you gave! A peck, not but if it was an intimate kiss then I would say yes!

Was it a full on make out, or just a peck???
If a make out, did it mean anything... A kiss isn't a SUPER big deal, it's not like you slept with the guy.
However, if there's feelings its ALL bad, seeing as how he's your bestfriend.
Not only should you be worried about your current boyfriend but you should also worry about how your best friend feels about that kiss.
If he's to continue being your best friend you've got to talk about this & clear it up.

It depends on the type of kiss- a friendly peck or tonsil fight? Did it 'mean' more that just a kiss to either of you?
ALso you need to consider what your bf thinks cheating is... it varies from person to person. It will depend on if he thinks you cheated.
In addition, for you to ask this, you must be feeling guilty, if it was innocent why feel guilty???

Here's the question you need to ask.
If your boyfriend gave his female best friend the same kind of kiss, would you feel like he cheated?
That's always how I tell. If I would be angry that my "girlfriend" did it with another guy... then it's cheating if I do it.

If it is a kiss on the lip and you probably didn't mean it, then you just did something stupid but it isn't cheating.
If it is a kiss on the cheek, then don't worry. Just don't cross the line.

No. A congratulatory smooch for a friend isn't cheating. If you held the kiss several seconds and there was tongue involved, my opinion may change.

No, it doesn't ... only if the kisses get more active and prolonged will it start counting. He's your BF, and you love him. Kissing is only one way to show someone you love affection.
