I think on the new year....if both of your plans are clear....you should go out for a romantic dinner and come home and watch the ball drop to the new year on tv. Pour the champagne! As for the gift.....did he mention any "new years resolutions"? Give him a gift that has to do with what he said. That would be a nice new year and birthday gift all in one. For example if he said that he wanted to start eating healthy.....you could give him a blender as a gift and tell him that its the start to his resolution to make all the smoothies he could ever possibly want! It's just an idea...good luck!

I took a pict of myself wearing nothing but a teddybear and put it on disc. I gave him the teddybear holding the disc. We still went out to dinner and stuff too. Be careful though because Im under the understanding thru rumor that when he got angry he and his friend put it up on that beautiful people website. I did not mind. All my friends went thru a joking phase of lets sit with the beautiful people thing. It was funny.

I would say a gift card or something like that...but that's no fun to open!! Get him like something for hes car or something that he would use alot and that he really needs! Like a jacket or some type of new clothes.

Give him an entire day of waiting on him, make his favorite foods, watch his favorite shows, and/or make him a card with your wish to him, one for each month of the new year!
