My crush moved away like, two weeks ago and I was over him in two days. But then my religion teacher started talking about him in class and basicly opened up an old wound and rubbed salt in it and now I can't stop thinking about him. What should I do?

I ended a relationship with a man and a week later he had taken out a personal ad on Match.com. When just weeks before this, I was being told I was his Soulmate, His True Love ( meaning I was the only woman he had truly loved), He wanted to be my husband one day and I was "the one". I guess it didn't take long to get over us or me? How can a man turn his feelings on and off like a light switch? I guess my satisfaction in all of this is, he will never be able to replace me and I think that is what he is trying to do. How do I know this? He is the type of person that hates being alone. I am intuitive with him and I can feel that he misses me but refuses to communicate with me in anyway. Why do men deny themselves and not pay attention to what their heart and head are trying to tell them? We ended very badly but I thought we might be able to communicate somehow, someday as friends. So okay guys what gives?

A friend of mine once said she would be happy if only she could find someone with a personality just like hers. I was thinking WHAAATTT?? I would not want to date someone just like me. I couldn't stand "myself". What I mean is that my personality would not be suited to someone else with the exact same personality. Could you stand another version of yourself??? Think about it. We all have quirks of our own we hate and imagine having to deal with them in someone exactly like you.

I was in a relationship 4 5yrs. We had problems. I called her mothers house 1 nite looking for her and ended up getting in a argument with her mothers boyfriend. Needless to say I did use some profanity. I was wrong so I apologized to her mother but not her boyfriend. We decided to be friends shortly after that.It's been a year since we broke up and she claims she's not seeing anyone else and still loves me but, insist that we have problems. thats ok with me but, whenever she gets around her mother she turns her phone off and won't even talk to me when her mother is around her. I asked her about it and she gets defensive saying that she doesn't do that. I called her again today and of course she didn't answer her phone but called me when she got in her car and was on her way over her fathers house to have dinner with him. She is 38yrs old and acts like her mother has say so in who she dates. keep in mind I did apologize to her mother. Should I move on because I think shes ashamed.

Me and my boyfriend dated for a little over 2 years and we used to fight alot so he called it off [talking about our relationship] i felt so bad because i love him alot he's my best friend. And now he's talking about he doesn't want to get back together because we fight too much but he wants something that sort of like friends with benefits..the only differnce being that we both love each other..i don't understand this and i don't like it i want to be able to sy he's my boyfriend not my friend with benefits. First off let me say I have been divorced now for 13 years. I didnt mind at first I rather enjoyed my new found freedom. But 2 years ago I found that I had some serious heart diease going on. I had open heart surgery a little over a year ago. but now at age 46 I find when ever I tell a woman that I will never work again, I never hear from her ever again. Am I destined to be alone for the rest of my life? Or should I hold out hope that someone may come along? New some advise here. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Help me resolve a dispute with my husband. I say that deep down, most women are attracted to the bad boy type. He disagrees with me. So, for the moment, pretend you are not with your other half. Would you choose a bad boy that you KNOW will show you an awesome time? Or, the boring preppy type that you know will always take care of you but in the end you'll be restless for action? In my experience, the boring ones kept me looking for something more. My hubby is all bad boy and I've never been happier.

why can't people except the fact that in high school romance is sometimes unecessary and it feels good to be with different people sometimes.

Now we are back together and in a good place. The issue I have is re: need. I used to tell my boyfriend that I need him---which made him uncomfortable. But now that my boyfriend is back--he says he needs me, can't be without me and I help him feel complete. This worries me because through the breakup I learned great strength and realized that we don't really 'need' anyone and that we are whole/complete unto ourselves. I'm not sure what to do now---as I love him but I don't want this to be an unhealthy relationship.
Some believe it is good and healthy to need your partner in a healthy relationship---others believe you should never need someone else cause that is dependency.
Any advice /suggestions? Is it okay to need in a healthy way? What do you think?

ok so @ a staff party on saturday i met the best guy ever. We shared a few dances, had some drinks and then hung out/talked a little bit. On monday i found out that he goes to my school! I saw him on tuesday too and he said hi to me. I REALLY want to get to know him better by actually talking to him during class but i wouldnt know what to say!!!
