Well, honestly, pretty much the same way a guy can ask a girl out. Is there something you both might enjoy, or that would be a reasonable excuse for the two of you to spend time together? Just ask him if he'd like to go to that with you.

As an alternative, invite him to be part of a group of friends (his and yours) that is going to go do something together -- more casual, less pressure, if you're not sure how he (or you!) feels.

Since we are all different in so many ways as a result of our culture, environment and experiences thinking things through before action is always adviced. From what i know and as a guy a gurl makes my day if she asks me out and as matter of fact this save me all the trouble i would have gone through in doing so.
