Singles & Dating - 23 November 2006

I've known this guy for over 3 years. We are really good friends and have both wanted something more to happen, but for whatever reason it hasn't (work, school, living in different cities. etc)
In August, we had a big fight and he called me a stupid b----, and told me to have a good life.
So whatever right? I forgot about him and moved on. I went cold turkey, no calls, no texts, no emails.
About a month and a half later, he messages me, asking how I am, how is my family, work, everything. I was really surprised, so I called him on it - he said that even though he said all those thing, he thought that I would have still stayed in touch.
So basically between September and now, we've been saying how its going to be different this time, we're both honest with what we want, etc.
Is he ever going to grow up and be mature, and say he wants me too - or is this a lost cause?
I've told him MANY times what I want from him - but he doesn't do the same

Alright all you beautiful people! Hope you're having a great Turkey Day. Here's my predicament.

I'm an attractive 22 year old Asian man, 6'1" 210 lb, I'm also financially independent. I live with my gorgeous 21 yr old Caucasian girlfriend whom I've known since HS. Recently she got pregnant! After MUCH discussion, we decided to have the baby. Problem is, her parents don't even know we've been living together for the past 3 months. How the heck are we going to break THIS news?

Am I stressing over nothing? We're both adults and finance isn't really even an issue; we both work and get paid well. I guess I'm worried because although I've had good relations with mom, her dad doesn't really like me. He's just overprotective I guess. Anyways...

I should be ecstatic about the baby and here I am worried about what her parents will think.

BUT, they're hosting the Thanksgiving dinner tonight. Should we tell them in front of everyone? Good or Bad idea?? I'm leaving in 30 minutes!! Gulp

i went to a soccer game one night, with people not from my school. this girl came up to me and said, "my brother thinks you're hot, and wanted me to give you his myspace. he's too much of a chicken to tell you himself." and she gave me a piece of paper with a link and walked away. i didn't even know who he was. i went back home and added him, and he's REALLY REALLY REALLY attractive. he talked to me a little at first, and commented my pictures about how "gorgeous" i am and stuff. i get that a lot, not to be vain or anything. he asked for my screen name. i am only 14 years old, and a freshman. he is a 17 year old junior. I'm 18 and so is he.
This will be our first Christmas while being together, we've been going out for about half a year. He doesnt have a lot of money to spend on me so I don't want to buy something too nice for him and make him feel bad. But also I know he will spend whatever money hes got on me... so I dont wanna be too cheap either.

I'm not crafty, so home made stuff isnt going to work well.
