What is karma?
Cause and effect. Whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap. For each action there is an equal and opposite reaction. There are a lot ways to describe karma, but it is essentially the belief that your present circumstances are the product of previous actions, and what you do today will affect what happens tomorrow. Karma is also associated with past lives -- each time you're reborn, the energies from your previous lives influence the conditions of your current life.
Karma does not necessarily mean past actions. It embraces both past and present deeds. Hence in one sense, we are the result of what we were; we will be the result of what we are. In another sense, it should be added, we are not totally the result of what we were; we will not absolutely be the result of what we are. The present is no doubt the offspring of the past and is the present of the future, but the present is not always a true index of either the past or the future; so complex is the working of Karma.
Karma is action, and Vipaka, fruit or result, is its reaction.
Just as every object is accompanied by a shadow, even so every volitional activity is inevitably accompanied by its due effect. Karma is like potential seed: Vipaka could be likened to the fruit arising from the tree – the effect or result. Anisamsa and Adinaya are the leaves, flowers and so forth that correspond to external differences such as health, sickness and poverty – these are inevitable consequences, which happen at the same time. Strictly speaking, both Karma and Vipaka pertain to the mind. As Karma may be good or bad, so may Vipaka, - the fruit – is good or bad. As Karma is mental so Vipaka is mental (of the mind). It is experienced as happiness, bliss, unhappiness or misery, according to the nature of the Karma seed. Anisamsa are the concomitant advantages – material things such as prosperity, health and longevity. When Vipaka’s concomitant material things are disadvantageous, they are known as Adinaya, full of wretchedness, and appear as poverty, ugliness, disease, short life-span and so forth. As we sow, we reap somewhere and sometime, in his life or in a future birth. What we reap today is what we have sown either in the present or in the past.
While we are born to a state created by ourselves, yet by our own self-directed efforts there is every possibility for us to create new, favourable environments even here and now. Not only individually, but also, collectively, we are at liberty to create fresh Karma that leads either towards our progress or downfall in this very life. Karma is neither fate, nor predestination imposed upon us by some mysterious unknown power to which we must helplessly submit ourselves. It is one’s own doing reacting on oneself, and so one has the possibility to divert the course of one’s Karma to some extent. How far one diverts it depends on oneself.
"Not in the sky, nor in mid-ocean, or entering a mountain cave is found that place on earth where one may escape from the consequences of an evil deed".
He who believes in Karma does not condemn even the most corrupt, for they, too, have their chance to reform themselves at any moment. Though bound to suffer in woeful states, they have hope of attaining eternal Peace, by their own doings they have created their own Hells, so leave it to karma and dont soil your consicience too.
Good Luck>

The term "Karma " means Work or Deeds.
Who ever does a good deed gets a good result and those who do bad, will get a bad one.
What u are planning is not KARMA.
Because KARMA is not what you do intentionally, it is what happens all by itself because of your own wrong deeds.
Example of Karma :-
1.) A boy doesn't Study harg for the exams and he gets Failed in the exam, because he didnt know the answers.
2.) A boy Dumps girl for he likes sex with other girl.
He never gets satisfied with any one this way and keeps changing girls one after the other.
One day he is so unpopular among the group that all the girls whom he asks to go out with refuses to be with him and he is all alone now.

It isn't karma that's going on, you are planning revenge against him. That has nothing to do with karma whatsoever. Karma is the belief of someone doing something bad, that it will come back to them eventually when they least expect it. Have faith that what he did to you will come back to him soon, and he will learn from it. And I think planning revenge is silly and immature. Be the better person and move on with your life!

this is sick belief! What the heck are u talking about. yOu are fateful that you got away from a guy as ridiculous as that, and warn the other girl about his infidelity. There is nthing called Karma thats gona help you, good to be spiritual, but don't be superstitious, humiliate the guy in public and let others know about him, this may help ur revenge and also save other gals from being trapped in is trap.

Karma is going to come back at you if you try to interfer in his relationship. You dated a man who was unfaithful and thankfully the relationship ended. It is time for you to move on with your life. If you interfer in his life you will always be suspicious of people doing the same to you (karma).

You shouldn't try to get back at him. If you really believe in karma then leave it be and move on to bigger and better things and karma will bite him back.

Karma do work since its destiny. But your case is not karma, but 'kama'; the word missing with the alphabet 'r' from karma!

Examples of Karma:
Boy breaks up with girl for someone else.
He gets with another girl and she breaks up with HIM for someone else.
As for you, that girl should dump him and tell him she's found better sex with another guy. Pure sweet revenge (Oh and Karma for him).

First of all you say thanks to God , he saved you from that person. you just start avoiding them. Taking Revenge is not an answer , just leave them and go a head , think what ever is happened is for your good only.
