what can a guy do if he is still deeply in love with his ex long distance gf and now he finds out she is now doing sex chat online for money cos i cant support her, is that a good thing ie using her resources or not???

Unfortunately there is not much you can do about it. Do you really feel there is a chance you may get back together with her? If so pursue it wholeheartedly, if you think it wont happen but you just happen to still be in love with her, then deal with the situation as best you can. Maybe look at this latest move on her part and use it as a way to get over thoughts of a relationship. You cant just unlove someone, but deep down at some point you know when a relationship just wont work. Weight it up - she's ex, long distance, working on sex chat line which you are obviously questioning as a worthy pusuit...... time to move on dude, theres bound to be a relationship for you that is a little easier! Sounds like there was not sufficient closure for you. Work out the loss alone and with help of friends. Get involved in activities with friends. Find a woman who respects your values--whether that be liberal or conservative. You deserve better.

I would start living again. It sounds to me like she was using you. Get a girl close to where you are and you can see each other. Realize that you are lucky to be rid of her.
