A friend of mine once said she would be happy if only she could find someone with a personality just like hers. I was thinking WHAAATTT?? I would not want to date someone just like me. I couldn't stand "myself". What I mean is that my personality would not be suited to someone else with the exact same personality. Could you stand another version of yourself??? Think about it. We all have quirks of our own we hate and imagine having to deal with them in someone exactly like you.

no....opposites attract. I wouldn't want to be with someone who liked and disliked everything I did or ate. It would soon get pretty boring

I am so sorry that you dispise yourself. True we all have quirks and such, however that is what makes each of us unique. I would, just like your friend, love to be involved with someone just like me.... You should not hate yourself, if you do, you will never have a successful relationship. You have to learn to love yourself totally. Remember, you cannot make someone else happy unless 1st you have succeeded in pleasing yourself. Try to imagine dealing with someone else's quirks that are actually worse than yours? I wish I could clone a girl me! She'd be cute, sexy, horny when I am, et cetra. And nothing would be off limits between us two. Plus, we would keep the house just the way we'd like it. I would have to hunt for something whether she or I put it up, because she would put it in the same place that I would have, instictively. Believe it or not, everyone is, or should be looking for someone that closely reflects the person that they are. Anything else is misery, that's why the divorce rate is sooo high. No one is honest anymore, not even with themselves.

i dont want to date a guy exactly like myself but he must have some of my qualities cos that will make us communicate more,if he's the exact opposite of me then there will be conflicts all the time,compatibility matters in a relationship.

man i don't think i could stand dating a person that was just like me i even annoy myself sometimes don't opposites attract? don't we need the ying to our yang? if i was gonna date someone just like me, wouldn't that be like just dating myself? it wouldn't be as much fun i need someone totally opposite of me I'm so hard headed sometimes that I'd end up arguing all day long with them

I like the fact that my husband and I had different types of interests...some of my interests now have become interesting to him..and his interests are now interesting to me...isn't that interesting:)))
