Stop acting like Victor Meldrew and you might get a girlfriend - no one likes a constant moaner - look on the bright side of life - it could be worse, I turned 40 this year.

I think you're having a lot of goal-oriented strain. It sounds like pshychological feelings that your having because your life is coming along and you havent yet achieved some of your lifes biggest goals. Not only that but because of being single so long, you've probably lost hope in finding a proper mate and settling down. A lot of people get this in their thirties because of the daunting approach of middle age ahead. It also sounds like you are depressed. Try finding a new thrill or a hobby to take up and give your life some kind of purpose. When we get off track in our lives we sometimes forget that we can always get back on.

As a 40 year old bloke, I heartily recommend it. You're never too young for a mid-life crisis.
The cure? Twofold.
First, buy a sports car
Second, enjoy it, go to the pub, chase women you've got no hope of pulling and be as miserable as you like.
Its all downhill from here, so make the most of it lol :)

you've got to know the symptoms yourself
taking a little personal time is good for you even if it's involuntary
it's not a quarter life crisis but certainly it's not a midlife crisis.
I actually wouldn't call it a crisis at all.
Maybe it's just a mope.
I love a good mope.

I believe that things are so different from how they used to be. I am 42& find myself moaning about the same things as my parents e.g the state of the NHS, why is public transport so bad etc. but at the end of thd day life is for living so just chill man!!!

You buy a sports car dump your wife and get an 18 year old girlfriend. It's all about feeling old, I am a lot older than you but still feel like a kid, so no mid life crises here.

Grumpiness but then a lot of people are grumpy whatever age they are. Maybe a balanced diet with more fresh food (no more processed food) will end your misery and give you a new lease of life.
