I have the hots for one of the barmaids at a pub i got to. Last monday ( not yesterday the previous monday ) she was there but i aint got the guts to say anything to her so i wrote on one of my business cards that if she would like to go out for a drink one night then to give me a call but as yet she hasn't. I am going there tonight and know she will be working so do i make reference to it or just not say anything. As yet i am not sure if she is seeing anyone and bear in mind i am quite shy. Any advice will be appreciated. Thank You

Ok, so my best friend is a girl (i'm a guy) we are 15 (mature) and have known each other for 2 years. Recently-for about the last two weeks- she has been asking for hugs alot, almost every day, and keeps saying she loves me. She had never done either of these before. But the thing is, she has just gotten a boyfriend (16), so I dont know what is up with the hugging etc. all of a sudden. I like her more than a friend and I have to tell her (I will wait till she breaks up with the guy), but I want to know, why might she be getting more touchy so much so quickly? If I am walking her home she puts her arm around me, and the other day I just made the flippant comment; hey, the cat's giving me a back rub, none of ye are that nice (to a group of friends) and she said "I'd give you a back rub". I find this behaviour odd since she has a bf. Whatever your answer, please say why, as I am trying to work it out.

“Does she look better than me”?

Is this some kind of a trap? What do you girls want to hear? Either way we are done right? If a guy says no, then we are a liar~If we say yes all hell breaks lose!

wants me to prepare Thanksgiving dinner the same way his ex-wife did? I realize that is what he is used to and I should not break all his tradition but I do not want to like her or even compared to her.

What type of things to talk about on the phone, when you meet if you only meet occassionally?
How to attract him towards you, how to make him chase you, keep loving you intensely, and just keep wanting more and more...

We have been together for 2 years, the first year, he bought me presents for my birthday, and christmas, and flowers for valentines day, the second year, nada. I purchased him presents for each of these holidays, which he gladly accepted, but he did not get me anything in return... He gave me a heart pendant last christmas which I tactfully told him I did not like... and he told me he would never buy me anything again, but he is legitimately doing it, should i just stop buying things for him... I find his gift giving behavior bizarre...

Does having casual sex, without being a relationship with someone mean that you don't respect yourself?? I mean if you have a high sex drive and are very attracted to someone is there something wrong with those two people having a sexual relationship? I'm confused about different people's point of view on this, because people seem to think that sex is the most important thing in any kind of friendship/relationship between the opposite sexes when other's feel that sex is such a small element. A person's sexuality doesn't determine the type of person they are well all have our weakness. Why do men feel a woman lacks self respect if she chooses to sleep with him without being his girlfriend?

A beautiful woman who is a cold fish in bed, or curvy woman who does lots of the work? You can't have both you have to choose.

I had a brief sex encounter with one of the guys from this fire station where I volunteer. Now he's telling the other guys! Go see me to get "Serviced"! Why would someone do that? Why are they mad at me? He participated too! Why arn't they mad at him? I want to continue my work there but fear it's over and have lost all respect from them.

How should I pursue this. The whole "romantic" thing seems too pretensious and forced for me. It's not really fake on my part, just more thoughtful. But irregardless of what most women say in terms of what they seek from men, the very thing they want seems to push them away more often. I'm not buying them bouquets of flowers and reciting poetry, but it's often gotten me less success with the whole "nice guy" B.S. Where I currently am in my life, as much attention as I'd like to give to myself lately in terms of progress, I most likely have next to no time for a true relationship right now. My question is just how open are single women REALLY to casual sex. The norm and stereotype seems to by they are APPAULED by it. I know this to be a bit of an exaggeration but still don't want to degrade myself personally just to pursue sex and harp on it like a sleaze towards women I meet. Should I tease then openly ask? Openly ask, period? Women's opinions on this one please.

Should your boyfriend be cool with this girl that you don't like even though you told him that you and her don't get along but he always saying hi to her and talking to her acting that it doesn't bother you.Because my boyfriend is doing that, I don't know if he's testing me, or he doesn't really care how I feel in this situation.

I have been with my ex for 5yrs. We have had issues and a couple break ups along the way. We recently broke up 3 months ago. We have differences in our personalities that i think lead to fights. We are both in very stressful fields and it would be a lie to say that does not contribute also. Also about 7 months ago I moved to a different state 3hrs away for grad school. Now at the same time we have always been good friends. So it is not like we can't get along or don't enjoy each other. I think our differences in terms of a relationship can be worked out if we are both willing to try. But at the same time it has been 5yrs of ups and downs. My head says maybe its not meant to be but my heart says i still love her. When do you listen to your heart and keep trying and when do you just give up and move on?

As I mentioned before, things turned very ugly with my ex over the weekend when he found out I kissed another guy 2 weeks AFTER we broke up. I saw him recently and he is the one who obsessivley wanted to meet up. We met had a great time and he found this out over the weekend. He's so angry right now and kept harassing me entire day by calling me when I kept hanging up. He's just being plain mean and I want to cut all contact till we calm down. Does it make sense to think of a friendship ahead? I wouldnt want to lose him as a friend because he was a big part of my life and I understand he's angry but his behaviour isnt justified as we were broken up. I dunno how guys react...you think he will get over this and we will be able to salvage some sort of a friendship?

I really like this guy and hes also my friend. When we first met, he was really sweet and nice and fun to be around. But now its like he doesnt wanna be on the same planet as me. Whenever he sees me in the halls, all i get is a wave hi and then he just walks off. Also, he hangs around this group of older slutty girls that treat him like hes their god. i know i shouldnt like him if hes neglecting not only me but his other friends too, but i cant stop thinking about him. How do i get over him?
