See its not like ppl who have casual sex dosen't have self respect. Its about how you have chosen to live your life. If you have chosen to live your life not falling into any commitment then sex is still a secondary necessity which will have to be satisfied and the best way is to have casual sex as long as it does not hurt anybody (i mean by becoming the other woman).
But if you intend to live a life of commitment then sex has altogether a different meaning. When living with a partner, he/she expects you to be his or her possession. Sex is so much more than just fun there. It is an important tool used to keep the mutual intimacy at a high level. Having chosen such a path or if intending to do so, you should take sex more seriously. and restrict your sexual partners bcoz if not then it definitely means that either you are confused about love and lust to such an extend that you believe lust is wht ppl live for or you are selfish and doesnt care for your partner's feelings.

I think because most women, and there are exceptions, become attached to a man after having sex. It is much easier for a man to have casual sex. I think most women tend to fall in love, or think that having sex will make him fall in love with her. Women can do it but I think they need to go into it with the right frame of mind. Expect nothing, then there will be no disapointment. I don't think it means the girl has no self respect, maybe she is just horny.

Sex is not the most important thing. You can live without sex, it's been documented.
If you're blaming this on high sex drive, you are a person, and people, unlike animals, have the power to control their urges.
This applies to both man and woman.
Although they use the term "easy" to describe a woman who has the sexual morals of a man

It's a sterotype. Women are sluts and men are players. I can't answer this for you b/c it's really one of those double standards set by society.
I personally think that you should at least stick to one person. There are diseases out there...but hey that's your call not mine.
Causal sex can denote a self esteem problem, however, that is not always the case. Again, it's one of those things that has to be addressed on an individual basis. Some girls with low self esteem give it up for free b/c it makes them feel needed/wanted/attractive. As long as you understand your motive for doing this, then you should be fine. It's those people who convince themselves that they are doing this for another purpose that have serious problems.
As for why men think women lack self respect if they have sex without commitment ~ b/c men are use to playing the 'game'. Most men say they want sex...but most will never marry a girl who gives it up easily. When most men think of a wife, they think of a wholesome individual to mother their children, someone respectable - not someone who's been around the block. These men will not respect you, hence they assume that you don't respect yourself. (I'm not sure how else to explain it)

Some people really value the true itimacy of sex and as physically/mental and spirtual act which is ment for one man and one women. Yes sex is great, but outside those lines are many things that can go wrong. STDs, Kids out of Wedlock, and Explaining your History when you finnally fall in love.

Who made the rule that you must be in a relationship to have sex ?? What is the difference if I have sex with him and call him my bf or I have sex with him and dont call him anything ?? Does that make the huge difference ?? I see nothing wrong with casual sex and if men think of me as not having self respect then that's their problem. I need sex too and should not have to be someones gf or wife to have it. And if your sleeping with a guy who thinks like this just drop him and find a normal one.

Honey, there is absolutely nothing wrong with sleeping with someone who you're not in a relationship with.
I am exactly the same way, high sex drive and occasionally happen to be attracted to a few men here & there.
You should absolutely not feel like you have less self respect. You should concentrate on what you want out of life, and if that includes a bit of sexual enjoyment without strings, then girrrrl - you go get it!!
You are a strong woman and when you want something, you shall have it!!!
Kudos on not being so emotionally attached like most of the women on this planet. Geez, what's with all the dramatics, know what I mean?!?!?
Just have fun!! (SAFELY!)

There is nothing wrong with it if that's what you want to do. It's not for everyone, but as long as there are no moral issues (you are both single and uninvolved with anyone else) then there's nothing wrong with it. You just obviously need to be careful who you are doing this with, and you need to use protection. The biggest risk when doing this kind of thing is STDs. Also getting pregnant is an important risk to consider.

For women, sex is SO emotional. Well, I suppose for most.
I don't have casual sex because I think it looks rather sad when someone tells me they are on partner 19 + counting. You put yourself up at risk for some pretty raunchy diseases AND if you do meet that special person....wouldn't you rather tell him that you haven't been around the world and that you treasure this moment with him so much?
Some would say no, that's not realistic. But I'm doing it. :-)

This all depends on your level of maturity and if the act is mutual. As long as you are not leading the other person on and are being safe about it, I think it's great. Sure beats masturbation.
