Singles & Dating - 21 November 2006

I have been dating this guy for 1 month and 4 days ago we had sex for the first time. I am not sure where this puts he and I as far as our relationship goes. You see he wants things to move slow and I understand that. We have talked everyday since then for times ranging from 1hr to 1.5 hrs. But, the subject of what happened is never brought up and I am not sure if I should bring it up? I would like to know how you know...what next? Are we going to see each other again, he says yes! When? Do I ask or wait for him? I do not want to scare him off but, I need to know where we stand as far as a relationship or friends who have merely shared something very intimate and special? Please help me with this one.

This is not really a specific question,rather a scenrio that is occuring to me, just wondered if any one knows what i should do? basically i recently met this girl,since i met her have not really been able to stop thinking about.We dont know each other that well,and dont spend much time together,but get along well and she always seems pleased to c me.Whenever i am around her i feel so happy and when we talk i feel like we have a good rapport. I have no experience we girls and have no idea what to do.I am 99% sure she doesn't fill as strongly about me.She is my mates flatmate so i only she her when i see him, so i never get to really have a good in-depth chat with her.I think it would be a big mistake to tell her how i feel as i would make a fool of myself.I personally think i should stop thinking about her and just settle for being her friend. Do you agree?If so any suggetions on how to get her out my head.Any other suggestions welcome, preferably ones that dont say tell her how feel.

We went out for 5 1/2 monthes and i told him i loved him, he had already told me that, i really thought i loved him at the time, well he broke up with me without a good explination, but we still talked on the phone like every night and were really good friends. I think I love him now, and he recently told me he broke up with me because he though i didn't love him. My boyfriend and I have been together on and off for 6 years. We have two sons together but he has cheated on me in the past and even had another child with this girl he cheated on me with 2 years ago. He had repeatedly messed with her behind my back. I broke up with him in July and he went to live with her and I feel he will always have feelings for her since they do have a child together. As crazy as it sounds he and I agreed to get back together. He says he hasn't talked to her and would never cheat again and doesn't even know her number or where she has recently moved too. I dont know if I should trust him or assume it will happen when and just wait to see.

My GF broke up with me. She says that she still loves me and still cares about me but right now she needs the space... she doesn't want a BF right now. We've been going out for a year and a half... which is long but not so long.... but see... shes been so busy lately... when she finally found free time i was happy because now i'll get to spend some time with her. I haven't really spent any time with her for about a month or two now....

I don't know what to do. She tells me that me and her are not over. When she gets her head screwed on tight, that she'll come back to me... she still loves me... but i'm still so hurt. I don't know if this is normal. Is it?

Throughtout the whole, her being busy thing, i was week at times but mostly strong... i know we'll see each other again... and do what we did when she wasn't so busy... i was so lonely at times... and then she gets rid of me... First girlfriend. Been together 1 month. Great chemistry. She said she loves me and "isn't just throwing words around." I said I love her. The other night she was real asertive, drove over an hour to see me( we live 1 1/2 apart) and said she had a great time. I wrote her an e-mail the following morning, expressing my feelings and how I usually don't feel this about a person. he's got a nice body (normal) and he's got the perfect job and apartment and car but the guy doesn't take me out, he doesn't wine and dine, we end up at his house watching TV and talking sh!t tells me his personal stuff, and then we end up in bed and to top it all off the SEX is bad its so bad that I end up thinking about my job and what I need to get done and wash my clothes...why in god's name do I continue to see this guy what the hell is wrong with me? This question has cropped up through conversation with somebody else. . I am of the opinion that if you truly love somebody, you love them for who and what they are, and should never have a desire to change them. After all, you would then be in a position that you would have to learn to love a different them all over again. But, some people love you initially and are happy with the way you are, then somewhere down the line, they suddenly decide that they feel a need to change you. How do you all feel about this?

My boyfriend confided in me back when he was in high school he slept with his ex girlfriends mother, just because he could... They had already broken up... he says he did it just to say he did, and its not something he'll do again. They only did it once, but I find this disturbing, does anyone else?
