I'm buying my boyfriend of about 6 months an engraved zippo lighter but I need some ideas on what to have engraved on it. It's for his birthday, sorta. We haven't really spent too much time together because he's been away so it's not like we're married or anything like that. What something I can have on there that's romantic without being scary (not something like "I want to love you forever" or along those lines) because we're not engaged or anything like that just a bit serious.

I have known this guy since 9th grade. We liked each other he asked me out and I said no. Later on we meet on myspace as friends. As time goes by he starts to tell me he likes me, and he wants me to come down to Cali to see if theirs something there. That happened in Sept. Now I have this dream about him and now I like him...ALOT!! But he started talking to his ex girlfriend and I believe he got her pregnant. He always said she was a ***** but in reailty he was going to her. I dont know what to do. His ex or whatever always bashed me because she knows we had a past. If he liked me why wouldnt he stick up for me? What should I do? Should I tell him how I feel? When I get to Cali should I see him? HELP!

It just seems you meet at parties, or meet through friends, converse if things go good you hookup. And if you hookup more than once you go through this awkward stage of deciding if you're an item.

About 2 months ago I met this guy at church and each week he would think of ways to talk to me. I thought he was cute but i didnt think anything of it. finally I told him my name and so did he. the next week I saw him at a church social and he started talking to me and asked if he can walk me to the car. He did. After that it has been 3 weeks since we have been some wat seeing each other. we have not had sex yet but every time were with each other we cant keep our hands of each other. Ive seen him at work and he tells me that his workes say I am a good catch. I dont know I guess I am confused. I dont know if he likes me or just wants sex?

Oh man am I nervous just typing about this right now. Well I'm a senior now, the girl I like is a sophomore. She's given me alot of signals we talk a little right now but that's because we're both kinda shy and nervous. Well she and her best friend want to go to the winter formal together as a fun thing. Her best friend is a girl btw. But yea. Well... She told me she's going with her friend probably so I'd go too, but she also told me it that way so I wouldn't ask her since she doesn't want her best friend to feel left out.

I'm planning on going as well but just with a couple friends "no date" I was going to ask her out to the formal but I don't want to ruin her fun or her friends. Plus if I do ask her out she'll kinda leave her friend hanging and that will make a hard decision on her to make.

So I plan to go alone and slip in my slow dance with her when I think the time is right. Question is... How do I ask her? And... when the slow dance is over what do I say and do...

Me and my cousin both 18, her friend was 22 so she supplied us with our continuous flow of booze for the evening.


This problem happened to me the other night. We we're hanging out Thursday night and went to watch Borat, we were all having a good time.

Anyways me and this girl are really hitting it off, completely ignoring my cousin in the wake, I really felt bad about this. To top things off, the girl(who was driving us) really insisted on taking my cousin home first, which really made it obvious about what was going to take place soon...

Anyways we head back to my house and after we were done she had to leave and told be her husband would get suspicious.

I think back at this now, and feel really bad that I don't even recall her name, It started with an A I think? Is it bad to hookup with your cousin's friends and not even get the name?


Disclaimer: About the husband bit, is really no big deal, it doesn't bother me because everyone cheats nowadays and i don't get bent up about it

Two months ago, I met a girl at the mall I work at(we both work at diffent stores). I found out, shortly thereafter, that we are actually neighbors in the same apartment building. We spend time with each other everyday, whether it be a few minutes at each others respective work, having a cup of coffee, going out to dinner or making dinner for each other, or just watching movies and talking until 3am. I drove 4 hours with her to her parents house, and we only spent about 2 hours there, the rest of the time she showed me her hometown. I know that I like her, I just dont know how to say it. When I first started talking to her, she said that she didnt have a boyfriend, but was kinda seeing someone, but now reluctantly calls him a boyfriend, although she keeps saying that she doesnt see him as a long term boyfriend. I want to tell her how i feel, but I afraid to because I really enjoy her friendship. What should I say to her and how do I know if she harbors similar feelings for me?

Ok.. I am exploding with passion, love and just want to experience life and everything it has to offer to the fullest! Only, I want to do this with my boyfriend. We've been dating a little over 2 yrs and he's in Criminal Justice in Lethbridge. Longterm is hard! I love him with all my heart and want to spend my life with him.. I'm ready to get engaged. I don't think he's at the same stage as I am. I know we're young (20 yrs) but being engaged doesn't mean we have to get married asap.. I'm not in a rush but I know I'm ready and this is what I want out of life right now. I really want someone to be with, watch movies with, learn to cook with, get a place.. Start Life! There's a guy that I used to really like a long time ago---(well, more like a year ago)---Anyway, I never really got to have a conversation with him.

One day last week, I had just come from seeing a movie with my sister and her son, when right at the next street corner, I saw this guy walking out of the building where he works (didnt know he worked there until later).

When I saw him, I just said hello and smiled, ---he at first, kept walking on for a second, but then kept looking back repeatedly as though he recognized me. Long story short-----we walked and talked for at least a whole block, until my sister came up behind and he FINALLY realized WHO I was!!! I cant believe he was talking to me without fully realizing who he was talking to. Anyway, it was hilarious. At the end of the "revelation", we hugged on another goodbye and went our separate ways.

Does this make me believe in fate?----Not sure.

I just ended a very bad relationship for the 5th and hopefully last time. She and I had been off and on for the past 3 years, durring which she ended our relationship three of the five times by cheating on me. She was always in control in our relationship, to the point that i turned down a full scholarship from a university in florida and rejected an offer to interview for gym job in virginia beach to stay close to her. unfortunately, all my other relationships have followed a very similar pattern, where my partner has been in complete control and abused that in one form or another, from mental games to physical abuse. i just can't figure out why i keep letting myself be controlled, and why, even now, i still want to be with my ex?
