I'm buying my boyfriend of about 6 months an engraved zippo lighter but I need some ideas on what to have engraved on it. It's for his birthday, sorta. We haven't really spent too much time together because he's been away so it's not like we're married or anything like that. What something I can have on there that's romantic without being scary (not something like "I want to love you forever" or along those lines) because we're not engaged or anything like that just a bit serious.

Just his name, because if you but something personal that relates to you the first thing that will run through his head is that when/if you break up he will have to trash the lighter.
If it's just his name, it's something that he can keep forever.

Well why don't you keep it simple. Just put his first name on there. Just having a present like that can be 'romantic' just cause it shows you're thinking of him.
