Having to assume you're in England here. But I'd go for..
1) Hygiene - Make sure you don't smell of bodily fluids, what ever they maybe.. infact don't smell at all unless its of aftershave or anti-perspirant.
2) Clothes. Make sure your clothes and shoes are clean and tidy. They don't have to be brand new or overly ironed (creases look silly these days) but they do need to be clean and relatively fasionable
3) Language - If you have a strong accent try and do what you can to reduce it and talk clearly - This should also be considered in your written language.
