I just started dating this guy who is 23 and I am 28. 5 years younger. Do you think this is too young. He looks younger than me.

Age once you reach adulthood is alot different than when you were kids. If he acts mature and makes you happy then what does his age have to do with anything? I have a friend who 32 and looks 12 i think looking young really doesn't reflect on the person as much as their personality and mentality does. Not saying i agree with like someone 50 dating an 18 year old but five ten years no big. my dad was 11 years older than my mom and i look for older guys myself

Is he mature for his age? Is he responsible? Treat you like a gentleman? If all of this is yes......he probably isnt "too young"......it is all about your chemistry with him....and don't worry about what other people might think. If he is a quality person.....age makes little difference. I was in a long term relationship with someone 17 years younger than me (my preference as his).....and we never sensed any age difference at all. Good luck!

Personally had you been a close friend of mine then I'd have done anything i could to separate you two.
no. not bcoz i want that guy for myself but bcoz there's a 99% chance of him walking out on you for someone younger once you reach 30. and the later that happens more the heart ache its gonna creat. so prevention would be better than cure.

he probably is too young. but there is always the exception. Men don't mentally mature until their mid twenties. That being said, he might be ready for a real relationship. Time is the best test.

Maybe. His maturity may be off. But if it's OK with you who cares. You should be more concerned about whether or not he has the ability to love, communicate, care, share interests, put you ahead of his own interests, etc.

Who cares? You like him thats all that matters. My b/f was a year older than me and everyone thought I was 5 years or so older than him. What matters is your happiness. Who cares what others think.

age is not the issue, its how he acts. does he act nomal, like a young adult should or obnoxious when he's around you? the answer to the age thing, theres no limit to it unless under the age of consent.
