Hi! Okay, I'm a 17 year old girl and I am usually friendly and I smile a lot. It is just my personality, people say when I am mad they can't tell because I'm still smiling. Well I try to be friendly to everyone and yet I am still a little shy around those I don't know. Well I get along with most people and I seem to attract stalker-ish types of men as well as older men. I am a Christian so I have decided to wait until marriage. But I still love to have a good time. My guy friends/co-workers told me I was "beautiful" or told others I was "hot" (which I don't believe) yet they go out with other girls willing to do more than I. I also recently found out several of my guy friends "wanted" to ask me out, yet they haven't. I rarely get asked out by guys my own age...what is wrong with me?!!

I asked her to hang out once, and now, I asked her to hang out again. We are already good friends, but I had never asked her to have dinner with me. I also do not see her often, but she readily agreed. Is this date?

I love this man for two years and support him after his divorce. He needs to take care of all kids and houseworks; I talk and text him for supporting. Because of jobs, I am in CA and he is in OK. We didn't spend too much time together. He told me that he doesn't want to have any relationship right now becasue of the divorce. I am his "good" friend. He told me that he likes to receive my phone calls and texts everyday. Sometimes, we talk very personal issues. We only talk 15 minutes a day because he needs to take care of kids. I have no problem on this. But we only talk and text during the weekdays because he needs to be with kids during the weekend. I don't know whether we are already in relationship or not. What does "good" friend mean? I have no chance?

Kids will be with the mom during Thanksgiving. I told him that I want to meet him, but he has to go home with his parents. I understand his situation, but I don't know his true thoughts about us.

Shall I stay and wait?

Whenever I would say certain things to my ex-boyfriend, preferably something concerning our relationship, he would always say he didnt want to talk about feelings, or if it was questioning an action of his or something like cheating or using me, he would get defensive. Is this an indication that I figured out the truth and he didnt want me to?

Ok, here is the hypothetical scenario... a guy has gone through all the movements, gotten her number, talked with her some, and planned a time to meet up with her. What is, the purpose, in her eyes, of this first date? Is it trying to see what a relationship would be like... to learn more about the person... to become friends... or all of the above? Just wondering because, it seems to me a lot of guys seem to think that basically it is where you simply start trying to get into a relationship.

i was wondering what type of general conversations and conversation starters would be interesting or funny (anything but boring) to talk to with a girl, since i seem to be a loser at talking to them. I usually end up with the last comment or...something that implies that the topic was too boring for her to even acknowledge.

please list as many topics conversation starters as possible

and I dont but they say I act like I do. I mean I will admit I'm always ranting about how much I hate him but still how do they get the idea that I like him? My one friend says I'm "Cleoprata queen of Denail" and the other keeps quote somebody and saying "doth think the lady protest much." It gets really annoying.

So my question is: Does ranting angerily about a guy you hate make you look like you like him?

by the way, were in middle school.

I told my girlfriend to please stop talking to her ex, who is a very abusive person, but she kept on telling me that he wasnt like that anymore, and they were just really good friends now, so later on i was suppost to see her in the house, that is when i see her ex and a couple of his friends, talking to her and her ex was grabing her by the arm and stuff, so i got off my car go see whats going on the he pulls her from the arm and throws her in the floor, so i go up to him and i just stick him in the face, and kept on hitting him until his friends came up to me and started jumping me, i got my a** kicked but atleast i knocked him out, so police come and i get arrested, and have to do all these anger management classes and stuff, and this is like the third time i get in a fight because of her, so i decided to break up with her, did i do the right thing, or should i give her another chance?

I have been with my girlfriend for about 2 months now and it has been the best relationship I have ever been in. she told me today that she is probablly finish drivers ed at the highschool (shes a junior but she has already earned enough credits to have graduated and im a senior) and then start taking college courses because her grandmother is sick and since shes not 18 yet if she takes college classes the government will pay her to take them. Now its hard to see eachother as it is we have barley seen eachother over the past 2 weeks. When she starts taking theese classes we will be seing a lot less of eachother and its really hard for me as it is. Does any one have any advice to what would help out when she starts and we dont get much time to see eachother because im scared that things might not work out as well as I would like them too...

So me and my boyfriend have been in a relationship for a year and 3 months. He left for college at fall. I feel like we loved each other before he left. As time progressed it felt like things were beginning to die down. He sometimes not call me at night because he was at parties or hanging out with friends.and he doesn't call as much..and we don't even talk in the day..it's more of a "goodnight, i love you, bye." As his girlfriend I trust him and I don't say anything and let him go to parties, get drunk, or whatnot and I understand he is busy with school work so I have gotten used to the fact he cannot call me during the day. I am the type of person who does not trust my feelings, I usually forgive and let things go..and I am learning to speak up. This is my first long distance relationship. Last night he called me and he said he's going to go clubbing, he got a fake ID and all that. I really don't like that idea..but i let him go with a "okay have fun!"..is it wrong to feel hurt?

What do you do if you were young, scared and crazily in love, yet never really believed all of that could come through for you, and therefore irrationally broke up with your boyfriend? You have since, hooked up and playfully flirted on email for a while, yet he continuously says, "it will never work again," and "we tried this before and it failed."There is an intense physical attraction between us that makes things more difficult. Not to mention that both of us have tried dating for two years but have yet to move on. Many parts to this story, but we'll start here for now...thoughts? advice?
