I asked her to hang out once, and now, I asked her to hang out again. We are already good friends, but I had never asked her to have dinner with me. I also do not see her often, but she readily agreed. Is this date?

I think many people would interpret that as a date, but if both of you know that you're just friends since you've already discussed this before... then no.

Sometimes, true love just comes from two very good friends together.

Besides, how could a date be "official"? Good luck on whatever you're trying to do, anyways.

It sounds like you may need to be honest with yourself. If you are asking this question, it may be that it's because you don't know what you want with this girl. Find out for yourself (and please, for the sake of all the broken hearted women out there, don't let your johnson be your guide). Be very clear with yourself about your feelings (not sensations) and about where you see the relationship going. What ever it is, be sure to let her know, because it's just possible she's thinking it's leading to a more emotionally intimate association. Two people not being on the same page, relationshipwise, leads to misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and sometimes lost friendships.

Good luck to you.

My boyfriend had asked to hang out when we were friends.
It ended up just being us.
And it was a date...

You wanna find out if SHE thinks it's a date?
Open the door for her and she'll say thank you.
When she does, say, "That's what you do on dates, right?"
My boyfriend pulled that one on me...
But with me... yeah, I just laughed. You'll never know what SHE does though.

It could be considered it, depends on what you want to make of it. Afterwards though, when you take her home, you should say I had a fun time or something along those lines.
