Singles & Dating - 17 November 2006

The first day of college I met my first real girlfriend, then I broke up with her because I didn't like her. Then she slept with another guy, and my feelings returned for her again. We started to date again, then I broke up with her the second time because I didn't have strong feelings with her but we knew everything about each other and we loved hanging out with each other, but I didn't "love" her. She did the same exact thing with another guy again so we started to date again, then I broke up with her because I didn't have the same feelings for her. Now she's talking to this other guy and I'm afraid the same thing will happen again and my feelings keep crawling back for her. I can't get out of this cycle or trap! Sometime's I cry because I'm so hurt by confusion and lonliness because she was really my best friend, now I have no one. Is there something wrong with me? Why can't I move on? Should I go back to her or what, how can I get out of this. Please help.

I have never had a girl friend and lately i saw this girl who always seem to look at me and when i look she looks away dose this mean she likes me. And if she dose how do i ask her out?
how do i know that she really loves me ?
How do i talk to her and what to say because its my first time to ask a girl or talk to her ?

and most importantly how do i know that 100%mthat she likes me because she looks at me and smiles at me but we have'nt talked yet ?

My dilemma is in whether or not I should reveal the crush at the end of the semester (after grades have been turned in). (I respect teachers a great deal and I am aware of the ethical boundary that cannot be passed, if I reveal my crush I do not intend to act on it). I hesitate because I will be a student in his department next semester (but not in his class). I have managed to keep very quiet on this. I do not flirt. It's possible that he suspects the crush, but I don't think he knows for certain. There have been several instances in which he would not enter an elevator unless there were other people besides he and I. So, I ask what others think are the benefits and risks of revealing my crush?

anybody eles ever go thru this. I will go to sleep next to my guy. I will have some awful dream that he cheats or does something to piss me off. I will wake up mad and for some reason even though i know it was a dream, i stay mad and wont talk to him for awhile.

see this dude knew him for a week or so and he started to "flirt" with me and **** and he seemed really nice and he was close to my brother. well sometimes it looks like he wants me for sex, but i dunno because the girl who sits behind him he doesnt really flirt with her ( in my humble opinion, i am much more attractive then her no offense) and he talks to me more. or is it because he thinks im easy or some ****? i dont know why do some guys flirt with certain girls and want to maybe get some and others not? ya hope this doesnt sound like an idiotic question

I recently ended a 3 yr relationship in which I got burned. However I do have a son with this man (who I just ended the relationship with)so we will stay in contact. I have met someone else. He is also out of a long term relationship in which he also got hurt alot. He wants an exlusive relationship with me but I am not sure I am ready for that, I may want to play the feild. I really like this guy and I am afraid I will loose him bc he dose not agree with playing the field. He thinks its cheating even though we only been on 3 dates. I dont want to hurt him but I am not sure what I want. I am 22 yrs old I am not a kid but this could turn to out to be something really good for me. I am not sure he will be able to become emotionally available to me. Should I just give him time to open up? or should I cut my looses? Thanks for any light you could shed on my dillema.
