He is disappointed that it didn't work(could be sarcastic depends on his tone) out and feels stupid to believe it could ever work out between you two. Guys are pretty plain spoken really, women always read into it to much. Most of us at least the honest few, mean what we say. There is no hidden meaning or anything just don't misinterpret what is actually said.

Well in this case i would have to regretfully say that he is most likely just insecure and conceited about his own status in society and wants to get the best looking girl at school and if you have 1 little thing even slight wrong with you physically, mentally and financially this guys friends will tease him about it constantly For being with the ugly, retarded, poor chic. OK sorry about that though it is sad but true.

He means just what he says - he's sorry that it didn't work out with you, and he was stupid to even try with a girl like you.

What he means is that he regrets that things didn't work out with you, and he feels he should have know that he couldn't score with a girl like you (that is, he realized you're out of his league)

[men are a lot simpler than women - we don't speak in riddles - what we say is usually what we mean]

Pretty self explanatory isn't it?
In layman's terms (lol) he apologizes to you but he found someone else and is no longer interested in you
Dont worry, you will have many many more relationships to learn so much more!

Means he doesn't wanna be with you no more and wants to see other people and for you to move on with your life. He wasn't attracted to you and doesn't see a future of you two being a couple....Thats what it means...Move on !!!!

its a very polite way to say good bye.usually we say that because we want to say bye for good without hurting someone's feeling and without being impolite and harsh.

I'm not a guy, but when a guy says that, then he liked you. He tried to make things work out with you, but since it didn't he feels sorry that it didn't work out. DUH, GET A CLUE!

He's breaking up with you, rather clumsily.

"It's not you, it's me, honest"
"I'm not good enough for you"
"You deserve better than me"
"Your Mom's kind of hot"

Well, maybe not the last one.
