i was wondering what type of general conversations and conversation starters would be interesting or funny (anything but boring) to talk to with a girl, since i seem to be a loser at talking to them. I usually end up with the last comment or...something that implies that the topic was too boring for her to even acknowledge.
please list as many topics conversation starters as possible

well to tell u the truth, just be urself...the girls who really like u for u will come along!!!
just try to be urself, and talk to them about their feelings, or if their sad, ask them why???
be nice, sensative, caring, but not to much, and be urself, thats the main thing to do!!!
also, compliment them about their eyes, or tell them their beautiful...ask them questions about what they like to do, or where they would most like to go...stuff like that!!!

It depends on the situation you are in. Key in on something that is happening around you two and make a comment about it. For example, You don't want to talk about how hot the weather is when there is a snowstorm outside. Say something like, "I am glad I dressed warmly," or "Doesn't the snow make everything look differently?"
If she is carrying a book, try to bring it up in the conversation, etc.

Ask about her, this is always #1. Asking questions about someone else gives them something to talk about and shows them that you are a considerate person.
Other Ideas:
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why?
What is one moment that you would like to re-live?
What is your most vivid memory?
Just a hint, these need to be weaved into a conversation, and used only one per conversation so you don't weird her out.

you dont need no stinking conversation starter man just take her for something recreational. Like skiing or something that doesnt need much conversing you know what i mean? so you won feel uncomfortable and tense.

ask if she herd about some thing on the news , that she mite be interested in or not doesnt matter like did u her about .... its so sad isnt it !
ask questions that she has to give u an ansor to nothing that would end in yes and no coz then u just gotta ask another question
