Singles & Dating - 16 November 2006

Ive met him. The man I want to spend the rest of my life with. We've had problem after problem after problem soldifying a relationship. I know what youre thinking but before you answer know that Im not stupid I know this man is for me and Im for him. Ive been praying for whatever is holding us back to go away but I feel as if God answer that prayer for everyone but me? So does prayer really work when it comes to matters of the heart?

i like this guy a lot but he has a girlfriend. Whenever his girlfriend isnt there he is really flirty with me and hugs me a lot and presses his body and face up close to mine. He always comes over to me to start a conversation and always trys to keep that convosation going when its started. I know hes not acting the same way around me when his girlfriend is there for obvious reasons but even so do u think he mite like me or is he just playing me?

i was seeing this guy 4 the past 11 yrs on -n- off but the in march we finally got together (steadily)i've always loved this guy frm the 1st. time we went out.we were always like secret lovers well any ways everytime i think about him i get butterflies well i thought everything was great i couldnt be happier everyone saw a big change in me.one day he was gonna pick me up but never showed or called i've called at work but he tells them to tell me hell call me back but never does my heart really hurts 4 him!the last day that we were together was great is it me or what?

Does anyone know how I can leave a message for someone called 'unrelaxed' on a dating site as there is no way of communicating onsite? Okay, the guy that I've been with for about two years, (on and off agian relationship) Is ignoring me. I have no idea why, and he wont tell me, obviously because hes ignoring me. And the only reason I can think of is because of a argument we got into, that i thought we resolved and it wasnt a big one, just that he needs to communicate more and be serious about trying to work on things ... I've been dating this guy for 3 months now, we both feel extrememly connected to eachother & even talked about having a baby/getting married. I know he still cares about his ex-girlfriend, but she is really starting to drive me crazy. She calls me & tells me that he is lying to me & that he has been going to see her to be with her. When I confront him about it he doesn't deny any of it. I REALLY, seriously want to be with him, and when I ask him why he does this his answer is this: Well, we have 3 kids together & I have to be nice to her to be able to see my kids also so she doesn't try to screw me over with child support. I understand completely where he is coming from. As far as I know they haven't been having sex or anything, but should I be okay with this? I can't stand her, I wish she'd just go away and stay out of our relationship. She had her chance & cheated on him several times. I don't want to just leave him, I really think he is "the one." Any ideas to work this out?

I am a single mom who has been burned but also wonder if Im just doomed to not trust. I think my mom kinda ruined me because she always thought up crazy stuff about my dad. So, I never really trusted my exhusband and now I'm even more leery. I have to now worry about a guy being close to my kids. I don't want to be like this especially now that I'm seeing a guy I really really like. I had answers to my last question about him and people said that he seems like he's not a player. What about trusting my kids around him? My first instinct is to trust him, but I over-think that even! Am I just crazy? Anyone relate?

I am so torn between just waiting around hoping she'll figure out what I've been getting at or just laying it all out there and risking our relationship b/c I do care enough for her so that, if she did leave, she could be aware of this in her future relationships. Do I get greedy, try to keep her around? Do I act selflessly, hope she can do something about it in the future? Is there even a chance she'd stay if I told her? I know you're going to tell me to give the guy a break or whatever, but something is not right in this situation. We would talk everyday, and now he just stops talking to me? I sent him a text message yesterday telling him I love him, no response. I sent him another text message today asking if he was coming over tonight, no response.

It's not right for him to just stop talking to me. I thought he loved me. Something is bothering him and he's just going to handle it by ignoring me? Everything was going great. We left on good terms Monday night, but now he's giving me this? Why do guys do this to girls? If they knew how badly it hurt they wouldn't do it. He's hurt my feelings several times, but I didn't stop talking to him!
