talking is a lame expression....you need a strong connection

The "talking" stage lasts until you go on a date or kickit & have fun & realize you wanna ask her to be your gf. To long is when she starts to not wanna kick it as often or mentions another "friend" thats a boy. "talking" shouldn't last for more than 6 weeks .talk for a long time and not date , means she wants you to be a close friend & not a bf .

I think talking is important. Ya know it takes a couple of years to really get to know a person. You should never stop talking. But if it doesn't lead to anything else in 3 to 6 months, maybe that spark isn't there and that person should remain just your friend.

ITS BETTER TO TALK FOR A WHILE THEN JUST JUMP OFF AND START DATING. BECAUSE ME AND THIS GUY WAS TALKING FOR A YEAR AS FRIENDS. THEN WE STARTED DATING FOR TWO IN A HALF YEARS. THEN WE HAD FALLEN IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER AND WE CLICKED. BUT EVENTUALLY WE BROKE UP. BUT TIL THIS DAY WE BE CAN THE BEST OF FRIENDS. WHENEVER WE HAVE A PROBLEM WE ALWAYS CALL EACH OTHER UP AND TALK ABOUT IT. TRY THAT.

it is good to get to know some one before you actually start dating them and loving them. The talking stage depends on the couple you will be able to tell when everything is suppose to happen you will know trust me i am happily married now.

I consider it "dating" when you both like each other as more than just a friend and have acknowledged that fact! Dating is still just hanging out, talking, getting to know each other, kissing and such.

depends on your guy some guy take longer than others he mite be a bit uneasy don't tell he in word but show him that u wont to get past the talking stage but don't scare him off

In teenaged relationships, i does not say it lasts any more than a month for my area. In youthful youthful children circumstances, it frequently only lasts per week, possibly 2. and then they get uninterested in one yet another..

Hopefully the Talking never leaves a relationship.But if the relationship is only friendly, that's all there will be.If you got doubt, get out.Even a friendship can get dull....

by dating do you mean that you're a 'relationship' or that you two are 'more than friends'?
It changes per couple/person.. it really does. sorry i can't help too much.
I've seen as little as one date to as much as 3 months
