Singles & Dating - 9 November 2006

My boyfriend and I have been dating for two months now and we are always doing things together. We're usually alone, sometimes with a couple other people but for the majority of the time it's just us. We're both very quiet, shy people and it has spilled over into our relationship. Although we tell each other a lot, niether one of us have the nerve to make a move. Not even a kiss on the cheek. As the girlfriend in the relationship how can I make him more comfortable to make a move and to make a move myself? I'm afraid if I don't kiss him soon he's going to reject me or want to break off the relationship because of it. He doesn't know it but I love him very much as I've known him for a very long time before we started dating. I don't want to jeopardize a fantastic relationship with a silly thing like this. Please help.

How could I find out the name of a waitress I have a crush on at Chili's? but I don't want to approach her just yet....I thought about asking one of her co-workers, and someone told me that the best way is to simply ask a FEMALE who workswith her about my crush, then she will go back and tell my crush, and my crush will know I like her, therefore making my approach much easier. This one guy teases me a lot. When my friends ask him about this, he just smiles and says I'm fun to tease. He talks to me a lot and I like him a ton. He isn't seeing anyone, and my friends in other classes with him say he doesn't tease other girls. What do you think?

I have never had a boyfriend before, but i have been exculsively dating this guy for 2 1/2 months, but he hasnt asked me to be his girlfriend. His birthday is right around the corner, and I have no idea what to get him. He doesnt like CD's or music, but i want to give him something better than just money. (or is that an appropiate gift?! and if so, how much?) I dont want the gift to be too big, because we are not boyfriend and girlfriend, but I do want to get him something.....I mean, we have been dating for almost 3 months. Does anyone have any good ideas?
PS..im only a junior in highschool, so i dont really have the biggest budget, so not something too expensive....

I have been dating this guy for 6 months. So far he has been one of the best boyfriends I've had but lately we've been fighting because I think I get nervous about our future. In May I will graduate and he still has two years left. I plan on moving to a city that is about 13 hours away and I don't think either one of us want a long distance relationship but I don't want to break up with him now when we still have another 6 months we could be together. Do you think I should:
A. break it off now (maybe it is easier to do now than in 6 months)
B. Break up with him when I graduate b/c long distance is too hard
C. Try and make it work even though he still has two years left in school
or
D. Not worry about it!?!

I think it is, and I think I'm wierd.

My best friend has had 6 boyfriends and she thinks it's weird I've never had a boyfriend. Even her boyfriend thinks its weird. He said he can't belive I don't have a boyfriend because he knows any guy would want to be my boyfriend. Sure, I've been asked out before by a guy, but I've rejected them because I didn't like him. This has happened 3 times with 3 different guys. I don't think the reason this is happening to me is because I have no perosnality. Because my friends tell me I'm really fun to be with, and I have a great sense of humor. Also, my best friend's boyfriend said that I was pretty and that was even more shocking to the fact I nver had a boyfriend.

So, I just don't get it. Guys never running to me like my best friend. While she is out getting boyfriends and stuff, I'm all alone. And it makes me feel bad.

There is a guy i like. his friends think i am wierd and my friends think he is wierd. I have a friend who causes him and his friends a heck of a lot of trouble and she gets him and his friends suspeneded. But then him and his friends always get back at her by leaving stuff in her locker or just spreading rumors or insulting her to her face. My friends would not approve me going out with him and i doubt his friends would approve if we went out. Should i ask him out anyway??

My friend, we'll call her, Julie, is in a pickle. Okay, she was friends with this couple who were dating, but more so friends with the guy than the girl. We'll call the girl Hannah and the guy Richard. Hannah and Richard broke up. Richard started calling Julie to hang out and they became close. They started sleeping together. Their relationship didn't grow and they ended up ending whatever it was they had going on....but they stayed friends. I'm dating this girl (for almost two months), and when I ask her to do something she is always up for it, but never asks me to do anything. I kiss her, and she's receptive, but not really into it. She says she's attracted to me and enjoys our conversation. What do you wish your girlfriend would do to give you more space? This is especially relevant if you have a gf that tends to be jealous and controlling and likes to spend every moment with you and nags you to check in with her... etc... instead of making you two closer, it's actually pulling you farther apart...

What are some things you'd like for her to do so that if she did this, you'd feel her love more strongly and care for her more?

I dont know what to do nomore. At one time it was easy to be a virgin. But now its not. The boys i like dont like me. The boys that like me i dont like. Some of the boys who i think like me only want sex. Sometimes i just dont know what to do . I dont want to loose my virginity but its not easy staying one. ok i had moved recently and me n my boyrfriend had been telling eachother we love eachother, cause we do, and were always talking to eachother and when he plays basketball he plays with a group of friends and this girl he talks to and at work he went on "break" to talk to her. IN FRONT OF ME!!! that pissed me off but we still tell eachother we love eachother because we do and he still talks to her because my old friend form where i used to live tells me he does. it hurts because i really love him. but if thats the way its gonna be then im done.

There was this girl and her friends begged me to go to homecoming with her so i did. Shortly after she started to talk **** about me for no reason. All ive ever done is be nice and sweet to her. Today i bitched her out real bad and i know it was really horrible, but it sure did let off a whole bunch of steam. I mean, i never really liked her, but i still did the best i could to make sure we both had an awesome time but she blew me off. I kinda think this was a mistake but it made me feel so much better. Shud i have done that? Yeah, i did it very personally criticizing her weight because she is fat and her stupidity cuz she is really dumb.
