my previous question was what should i give my girlfriend of 2 years for christmas and i had mentioned we would be going to hawaii for the new year and that we had both paid for this and also that i have been able to buy her nice gifts, now someone suggested i give her something meaningful something like a childhood thing she never got or whatever, well i spoke to her and through out our conversation she said she felt as though i didnt feel the same love for her as before, reality i love her more than ever, how could i express this to her in a nice gift other than an engagement ring and the typical stuff

OMG.....This is so not about a gift here. You need to ask her why she would feel that you don't feel the same love for her as before. And then explain because you don't. If anything, you love her more then ever! That the past 2 years have been the most wonderful experience a man could have. And to loose that now would be total and utter disaster. As the years of ones relationship pass like sand through the hour glass, so does expensive gifts and crap. Take her to the beautiful island of Hawaii. Please? And lay in the sand and have a Margarita for me.....

I agree with the previous answerer. This is about more than just a nice gift. The most expensive gift in the world will not buy you love.

Why does she think you don't love her? If you have an idea about the underlyling cause for her dissatisfaction in the relationship, the best and most meaningful thing you can do for her is to try to fix it, or at least try to send her the message that you are willing to work out your differences to make her happy. That is worth more than any expensive gift.

For example, if your relationship is not going well because she thinks that you aren't spending enough time with her, sign both of yourselves up for a class to learn a hobby. If she thinks you're interested in other women, you can buy her a "promise ring" to show her your commitment (without going all the way and buying an e-ring). If the problem is something deeper, consider scheduling a counseling appointment to show her you really care.

It's good to hear that you still love her, and I'm sorry you're having problems. A meaningful gift will hopefully go a long way toward convincing her that you still love her, but actions speak louder than words, and what you do on an everyday basis will prove that you do love her more than ever now.

Best of luck with everything.
