Singles & Dating - 9 November 2006

alright, i'm only 14 years old, and i know that's very young and all, but i feel like my whole life is just passing me by and i never advance at all in my social OR love lives...and im not trying to whine to anyone, sorry if this annoys you, but for a few years now ive been very depressed-i've found myself crying alone on my bed because, simply , i think i deserve a boyfriend, atleast someone to love me and hug and kiss me, and, frankly, other girls don't. i know the only reason they have succeeded is b/c they are-er-easy, but i still envy them, which i know isn't very good and christian, but i can't help feeling depressed when i think of them getting to do all the things you do when you're, well, attatched to someone. ALL I WANT is someone to love, and ive never had anyone. ive never even been on a date. plz answer these questions: 1)how do i get a date?(NOT ONLINE!) and 2)could this be something more than teenage angst? could it b depression?

I have this problem at work, whenever I lay an egg it's like a co-worker comes up to me right then and wants to chat, or see how to do something or whatever. Either way, I get amazed when the folks that do not know me well and are very polite seem to almost "take" the smell, I mean shoot I can smell it man I know you can.

We have a class together and he rides my bus. We talk and I am friends with his sister. But whenever I see him, I see him watching me and looking at me. My friend on bus thinks he likes me because she said, "He feel comfortable with you, and doesn't hesistate, and plus he is always looking at you." He is 1/2 year younger than I am, so would it be weird for a older person to ask a younger person out. In the hallways he follows me and talk to me all the time, but sometimes he waits for me....like today, his class is down the hall and my class is further away, so he told me he made he put everything away just to be in time to see me. He now has a girlfriend but is always complaining to me how she is so annoying and he is always looking at me. When I see him, he stares right at me and is really friendly. He is always flirty with girls that are right next to me and other than that he doesn't talk 2 them.You can ask question but I will not answer personal questions. (Example: names and etc.)

ok. my ex boyfriend and i are still good friends and he is going to come visit me at college. my roomate is going to be out of town that weekend, so we will have the room to ourselves. we will probably end up sleeping together anyway, but i am not so sure it is a good idea. we ended on good terms, but he is kinda seeing another girl from back home, whom i do not like. should i just make him sleep in another room or on the floor? or in my bed? i really want to sleep with him though i miss him a lot. he wants to cut it off with the other girl, and i want him to as well. she is no good.
so...where should he sleep this weekend?

Here is the thing. I got with this girl about 2 years ago, and she was very shy in the bed. Now after being with her for this long she still is very shy. When I say "shy" I mean that she just kinda lays there when we are about to have sex. I get almost nothing. I mean she stated at one point that oral sex is something she is not comfortable with, and I basically took that as I'll never get it from her. That is cool with me but since she is so "shy" foreplay is basically non-exhistant. This is kinda bothering me because I like fore-play, and I don't like jumping straight into sex. I try and play with her but that damn shyness comes in again and blocks me so we just end up jumping straight into sex. I have talked calmly and loudly about the matter on separate occasions, but still no change. I am at the end of my rope and I just don't know what to do/think/believe about this. Should I just end this?

I've been going out with this lovely girl for about 4 months and and out of this 4 months, we spend a month away because she work in another country (long distance).

This morning, she left again for another month and strangely I dont feel lost or sad that she is going away. We said our goodbyes and we go to work just like any other day. Dont get me wrong I enjoyed ALL my time with her but it seems that I dont feel that kind of fiery passion that you had when you fall in love for the first time. Is this wrong? I'm the kind of person who get bored easily. (on general) but I know that this can be worked out because all relationship go through this phase.

I dont wanna lose her because She has been the greatest girl I've been with. I just cant figure out my feelings.

Any advise?

Ok, I am a freshman, and I have never gone out with a guy before. I really like this guy, and I know he really likes me. Thing is, neither of us are very outgoing, and we haven't really asked anyone out before. People keep telling me he likes me, even his best friend, and I want to go out wiht him. is taking a break mean your not dating the significant other. or are you still together but not seeing eachother as much anymore?

my bf of 2 years is "taking a break" to focus on school more since the semester is winding down, he also works almost 40 hours a week. i just saw him, he took me out and bought dinner. we hugged and kissed and said i love you. he wants to get back together after the semester.

and please do not say he's using me cause he's a great guy and wouldnt do that. we are both in our second year in college and he's taking alot of difficul classes. so right now he says "we're just friends" yet we hugged and kissed tonight. i dont know whats going on...im just really confused
he says he doesnt want to be "dating" me cause he doesnt want to feel obligated to see me and doesnt see ap oint in dating someone that he sees once in a while...
so what is "taking a break" does that mean you are still together?

I know this is gonna make me sound like a baby. Ok there is this one guy who obviously likes me. He keeps asking me out for coffee and is practically attached to my wrist whenever we meet. It drives me insane. I have no interest in the guy what soever, but being the girl that I am, I don't want to be rude and hurt his feelings, so I always tells him I am too busy to get together, that I have essays and assignments to write, that I'm working, yada yada yada. Now, this has been going on since September and I have been very obvious in my not interested hints. I have paid him little to no attention, left gatherings without saying good bye, used I'm uncomfortable get out of my space body language.. but he still seems very persistant. Everyone is telling me I should just tell him I'm not interested in being anything more than friends, but I'm afraid I'm gonna be mean and hurt his feelings and then he won't attend gatherings because I'm there too. First of I am a freshman in highschool. Today we had an assembly and I couldn't keep my eyes my crush the whole time (we got to be REALLY good friends back in 8th grade but now we hardly ever see each other). When everyone was leaving the essembly it was VERY crowded and I was right next to him and I tapped him on the shoulder, he turned but didn't look my way and he started leaving, and I didn't get to talk to him.
