Singles & Dating - 6 November 2006

Ok, so here it is. I'm not an outgoing girl; I don't look for attention. I think I'm attractive, but not to the mediocre guy. I'm quiet and a good student. I have a boyfriend who I love, who I could see myself marrying, and I know without a doubt he loves me. But i cannot stop thinking, fantasizing, and spitefully pondering this other guy. He is completely self-interested, egotistical, and disrespectful. Everytime he sees me, he manipulates the situation to get us alone. He forces his kisses and cuddles on me, and I admit, I love it. But I will not cheat. I will not even allow myself to be alone with him anymore. The truth is, I know what I mean to these three: I mean nothing to the jerk, everything to myself, and even more to my boyfriend. I refuse to let this jerk get the best of me or my relationship, but at the same time...I can't stop thinking.

i have had a g/f for just over a year, and when we chat on the phone, shes like, im gonna go and i say oh dont stay for 5 more mins, then she turns around and says, in a stroppy voice, oh im not even allowed to go to the toilet now, and then i say to why dont you just say you want to go to the toilet, and she says that shes embarrased, and then has a go at me, everytime she does this it akes me lower and lower and i hate it, i just wanna sleep, please help

It's this guy that I'm talking to who likes or used to like me. I don't know. We used to hang out alot, but now we don't, atleast not as much as we used to. I wasn't mad at that at all, or I didn't let it get to me. Anyway, in the past he'd told me how he felt we coud have something special, etc. Now, we don't hang out the same, and after class today(we take 1 class together), some girl came by giggling(she also takes a class with us, and I been had the feeling that she likes him), saying "Alright, I'm a call you tonight?" We were walking together at this point. I'm not the jealous type, but in my mind, i was like "What the hell is that?" That kind of got to me, even though I wouldn't let it show in front of him. We're not together (but we were close), so rather they're hooking up or not, there's nothing I can say about it. I care but I don't. And I'm really not mad. But its something if i'm sitting here trying to get advice from people I don't even know. So ya'll tell me if I'm crazy.

I went out on a 1st date with a guy in a restaurant of his own choosing. We have never met prior to this, just phone calls. During the date he told me "Had I known you look like that I would have not brought you here, this place is not that great.". I don't quite undertand what he meant by that.

There is a guy that it shy who I thought liked me so I asked his friend and now his friend probably thinks I like him so he probably told the guy so now HE probably thinks I like him! So here's the story... I met this girl at a concert where we're both friends of the band members. Then I talked to her at a party the next week. I asked her out and we went out to dinner and some bar-hopping on Friday night and I think she had a good time... at least that's what she said. So anyways, she came to another concert where I was already at, and we had a little conversation before the band started playing. After the band started playing, her friends wanted to leave, so she left with them... well, I found out later that her and her friends went out to a late-night club and she met a guy there... and I guess they talked on the phone for three hours yesterday. We're going out to a different concert on Wednesday night... what should I do? I mean, I don't know if she likes me or not... I like her, but if she's not interested, then I have to move on... and as much as I like having girl friends, I am probably looking for a girlfriend. Should I just play it cool or be upfront?
